Consider this my formal complaint...I don't get much time to play these events, so when i do. I always buy potions to improve my odds of getting drops. That being said, i log on last week and ran for an hour without using a potion and got nearly 35 drops. Not bad, so i used a potion. Odds improved greatly and i was able to nearly get 80 drops in an hour on 1 potion. 

Fast forward to today, i log on. Down the potion...32... THIRTY TWO DROPS in an hour on a potion!!!!! What in the hell is even going on here....They cant honestly expect ppl to use their hard earned money to buy these potions and this is the kind of drop rate i am getting now?? This is just not acceptable at all. I have never in my life seen such poor drop rates while using a potion. Am i bugged? Is anyone else experiencing this sort of issue or i am just having a one off? This will ultimately make me not spend any money on future potions if this is what i can expect from them. 

I haven't experienced this using the luck potion; every time I do use one my drops are greatly increased. 

I do think there was some sort of issue with the drop rate last week (I think I saw a Dev post about it somewhere that it was fixed) so if you were using it around then that might have been the reason. 

One other thing that might cause a different drop rate from session to session would be the dungeon and how well you survive. Example would be that I feel like I do way better in Destard bc it's wide open and easy to kill stuff compared to like Terra which feels way harder to get to spawn. Also if you end up dying a few times and need to go get rezzed that will impact the time you are killing stuff. Probably an obvious thing but did want to call that out just in case.

These events were never created with the average player in mind. They were always made for the bot armies of sampires. Proof is in the cheater discord; they consider these ToT events paydays by selling to legitimate players. Not even kidding. They call us fool peasants. 

I went to the TOT area on Atlantic a few days ago in the Blood Dungeon and I didn't see any what I could tell were legitimate players. All were cracked out sampires, likely ran by 4-5 players max running groups of 10-30 bots. How do I know they were the same player? Identical suits, identically dyed, with imbued pieces crafted by the same crafter, identical steeds (chargers for some, ozz hiryu for others, new hiryu for some) that all followed the same pattern running around the dungeon that would cause them to clump up or bug out at the same area. All these cracked out bots were flying around with 100% precision and crazy speed from one mob to the next, inhuman reaction times.

That's 100% why these items need to be account bound, but, they'll never learn and keep hemorrhaging legitimate players. They really do enjoy their temporary subscriptions they get during these events and fools that buy potions from the store. Just remember you are buying a potion to up your drop rate when these a single bot runner is pulling in 2000-4000 artifacts an hour, 23/7, for 3.5 months.

DO NOT BUY TURNINS/REWARDS FROM UNKNOWN PLAYERS/VEDORS

otherwise you are just supporting it and feeding in to it

Excellent. Make sure to stay on your own shard and don't farm the Matriarch on Atlantic!  Wouldn't want those pesky cross sharders farming our server to take it back to their dump.

As a matter of fact, let's make all the Matriarch drops shard bound? Only fair right?

I'm fine with the lag and Gargs there, don't bother me at all.  I still get drops.

Shard bound pets will be interesting and a game killer.

I am the reason they started making gates to the Matriarch, Even Stacks does it now!

If it makes you feel better i'm up to 170 fire paintings now and i only got one little .1 sot in animal taming this week. 

Uo has always been luck of the draw.

I was playing on a dead shards; Legends, and bots and third party cheaters were problematic.
Do not believe what Paiwan is telling.. tomorow and gonna do a 180.. like in the past week only; the house placement, calling out Popps and doing the same the very next day, or for McDougle stealing skill.

Exactly. Funny shard bound pets would 'kill the game' but all these shard bound artifacts 'keep botters from farming my dead shard'. These people can't even get their stories straight 

I never said shard bound was good.  But yall go ahead and make stuff up.  You can leave a weapon or armor at your house to travel. Are we going to have shard stall for pets?

I know its difficult for the two of you who don't play, to understand game mechanics.  

Our "bots" are players legally dragging toons. You can talk to them in chat. They go a different direction when they see me, My Macer can wipe out these 1 and 2 hit mobs very quickly, so they would be left with nothing if they follow me.

Maybe make a Macer and kill the groups faster and the real Bots wont get anything.

These weak Mobs dont need automation to get drops.

The majority at the Matriarch on Atl are players controlling their toons.  Many are not from Atl.

Next you are going to say the Bots read chat and can go to a gate that someone calls out.  Someone is controlling them, but yall just can not comprehend how someone can sit at a computer all day.  It is not my responsibility to police other players.  I play to have fun, not worry about what others have.

I admire your post count, but you come across as condescending in response to others’ experience. I disagree with username’s attribution of malice toward the development team and his proposed “solution,” but his assessment of the bots is accurate.

You might be fine with the horrific lag, the rampant use of programs which are forbidden, and the clear use of automated protocols (attended or otherwise), but a lot of players aren’t. Maybe it’s “only an Atlantic problem,” but that’s where 90 percent of players are — and still more transfer there on a regular basis to participate in events, engage in commerce, and socialize with others. To the extent that the game’s integrity is not protected or the team needs to make design concessions to “live with” these “Atlantic problems,” the issues impact all shards.

We should want all players to have a positive experience in a game that means so much to so many and should encourage the raising of feedback. Before you assume bad faith or ignorance, consider that another player is sincere in their experience, even if they don’t communicate very constructively.

Go to LS and probably all other shards, you will see players using 2 or 3 accounts, you will see mostly solo players because, seriously these last two events have been raining drops. One player can kill as fast as a group in this event. There are no 24hr bots there.  LS is a community we are all getting drops and having fun.  We don't have a market to sell drops.

I saw about 100 UO players having fun.

If you were there you would see that no Bots would do this encounter.

Interesting, the original topic and my first and (only reply) that mentions bots refers to the ToT yet you've somehow once again straw manned what I and others say. The matriarch was only brought up to prove how much of a hypocrite you are. I have never claimed it's being botted. It 100% is being multiboxed, however, or attended macroing, however you want to consider a stack of 10 archers moving around or 10 newbie gargoyles named ill illi lill llil llli iill llii but I guess since you didn't see it, it's not happening. Glad everyone else has eyes and can see it. Also, I really wouldn't doubt if someone told me the matriarch is being botted, after all, the Manifestation was incredibly AFK botted and this is the same recycled mechanic.

@username you brought up that I was on Atlantic and you knew what content I was doing there.

Like I said the Bots are an Atlantic problem.  Also there are no Bots at the Matriarch.  Kinda blows the premise of everyone is a Bot out of the water.

Meanwhile shard bound affect all the shards (specially hurt the non ATL one, for new or returning players.. while it's supposed to do the opposite).. the body disappear on all shards.. even dead shard like Legends is HEAVILY botted on both facets.. They put their garg thrower bot on you on Trammel when u call them out.. They even does the PvP bot train on Felucca when they start losing Xv1 battle on their reds supported by a cheat client.
