End Date for Krampus Encounters

Is the Krampus Encounter permanent or just a temporary event? I'm guessing it's temporary because the notes mention that crates have been replaced by gift boxes, but it would be nice to know one way or the other. Thanks.

Yeah i'd wager it's temporary content... all the more reason to make the "Whips" drop ins crafting recipe form, so that they can be used after this content is over.
