Huge Thanks & A Few More Suggestions!
First off, I just want to give a huge thank you to the dev team for finally listening to the community and making our suggestions a reality. It’s been a long time coming, and it really feels like there’s a fresh wave of communication and collaboration between players and the dev team. This latest event is proof of that — great work all around!
That said, I’d like to take this opportunity (once this event wraps up!) to re-share and expand on some ideas that could keep the momentum going:
or even a-
City Buff Stones in Felucca
Currently, city buff stones are only available in Trammel, which reds and criminals can't access due to facet restrictions. This limits PvP and red character engagement. The suggestion is simple: mirror the city buff stones in Felucca, so red players can also benefit from these systems in their own facet. It promotes balance and inclusivity in gameplay without affecting Trammel mechanics. -
Bounty Hunting System for Reds
Not a return to head-chopping, but a fresh take — a “soul catching” system where players can hunt down and collect the essence or bounties of notorious reds. Adds depth and fun to PvP without being overly punishing. -
Remove Guards from Felucca Cities (Start with Yew 1st)
This one’s straightforward — Felucca is the PvP facet. Having guard zones in cities here feels outdated and counter to the spirit of Fel. Removing guards would bring back the danger and thrill of navigating cities in Felucca, just like the old days. -
Allow Reds into Trammel & Malas (Non-Combat Access)
This idea was mentioned before and even had support from Mesanna a few years ago. The concept is to allow red characters to enter Trammel and Malas, but restrict their ability to attack anyone. This opens up roleplay, social, and crafting opportunities for reds without disrupting the PvM safety those facets are known for. -
Blood Dungeon Items (60-Day Lifespan)
Bring back the idea of time-limited PvP gear — similar to the old no-names. These items could only be obtained or used in PvP zones and would encourage continuous activity while keeping gear balanced and seasonal. -
PvP Event Coordinator NPC
Introduce an in-game NPC (or automated system) that runs monthly PvP events across main shards. These could be king-of-the-hill battles, capture-the-flag, or even shard-vs-shard rankings. Something structured to keep the community engaged and the competition alive. or even a dedicated PVP EM.
