I played pacific for many years, but would like to make the full on move to ATL. I personally think an in store item; like 1000 sovereign or more, to remove the shard bound off of an item would be awesome. Is this a possibility? I heard everyone talking about it.

This is the ultimate money-generating idea,

once you have enough shard bound items added to the game - introduce a potion to remove the shardbound property and let people xfer left and right.

But there are some aspects of this to consider,

you might want to make the price high so that a player would be better of buying the item on the new shard instead of xfering it. You dont want a situation where someone farms tons of items only to flood the shards later. The cost of xfering need to be high.

The shardbound property also makes sure the items stay on the local shard, instead of being shipped over to Atlantic. Every shard needs items available otherwise its not interesting for the players. Obviously you cant have the entire playing base on one shard (atlantic).

The removal of shard bound propert would also create a situation where the same item exists in two versions shard bound and not shardbound, in addition to some items already being human / elf / gargoyle. Theres enough item complexity already.

They does not need a paid option to this heresy.. they need to address and fix it (a problem they created themselves at BS studio)... try to move from ATL to any other shard just for fun.. and let me know how u feel about it. At least u still have the option to re-buy your shard bound on ATL.

As long as it makes them account bound sure. I just have a suit for home and one for travel.keep in mind you can do all content with Even just a journeyman or sorcerer suit..

I have a weapon, wildfire cleaver that is awesome for PvP. The main shard for PvP is currently Atlantic, so now I can’t really use it…I’d like to be able to take it to ATL and fight people. If they had a store option to remove shard bound, I’d love to pay for it.
