I liked looting higher payout monsters to pay for death robes. Now it’s just paragons often ones killed by someone else. Thought game moved to faster and cloud based servers. Or, is the programming language used just so old the game just can’t keep up with the action. Is it just programming limitations that results in so many threads like this one? Suspect it is.
+1 Un hotfix every shard except Atlantic
For players that can’t freely travel from shard to shard commerce is now quite limited on a lot of shards. I sold enough drops to pay for lots of deaths, no problem there. Just liked collecting the gold. To be honest don’t think the change they made to eliminate corpses made any difference to the game play on my shard. Have not noticed any. Still slows down at the most inopportune times.
No one needs the apologize for wanting to loot their mob kills. It’s fun. It’s always been fun. Not being able to loot your kills is less fun. And of course less gold.
Although I haven't died as much since moving to my sampire, I to would love to have bodies back for looting.
One of the core enjoyments I get out of UO is opening up the corpse and looking at the loot.
Sure I could just kill mindlessly to collect points, and sell something, but most things are shard bound and I'm not sure how good commerce is even on Europa.
The good news is for this thread is that on Atlantic I have seen tons of non-paragon white hued corpses still there after I've killed them. Something is broken, not all non-paragon corpses are disappearing.
I bet those are the areas where players can or can not Dispel things.
