Something change with vendors?

I haven't used my commissioned vendor in a few months.

Today I tried to add some items to it to sell but nothing I drop into its bag sticks. Every attempt results in the item returning to my bag.

I was able to take some left over unsold items and bags out of the vendor but I cannot add anything. I even replaced the vendor with a new one and still had the same issue.

My house is open to the public.

Maybe it is at capacity. If you have been playing awhile it is easy to max out your house.

I've had this happen to me when I'm not standing immediately next to the vendor. Even being able to take items.

Yes, check to see if your house is full.
