The House Contest Homes Without Walls

I've seen a lol of these contest castles without walls.  What I've noticed is no one actually builds walls for these homes.  People get all their items and cover every inch of the house in them.  It ends up looking really cluttered.

That brings up the thought... to the builders of these mostly well designed homes, do you have suggested locations for the walls?  And, has anyone seen a well-designed contest home?  I haven't.  However, I don't have access to every home since a lot of them are private.

I know what the winning homes look like.  I'm trying to figure out where to put walls inside.  They are all giant rooms.

It would help if we knew what floor plan you are using or asking about.

I love the open floor plan ones because you have many options.

Exactly.  Has the OP looked in the Homes and Castles sub Forum?

There are some really good decorators and designers there. Make something and let them Critique and help.

Comments on my houses range from this is awesome to this is very busy.  I can't focus on anything. Wow that's cool.  I start with a clean plan and then clutter it up.  I have hundreds of items in chests that want to be seen.

Maybe you should advertise for a home decorator to come and set up you plot for you.  I have 2 of the open designs and I plan on leaving them that way, so much easier getting around in an open concept house.

https://community.stratics.com/threads/the-spires-castle-decod.403856/ depending on what castle you picked,  this is The Spires decorated for three separate uses.   Two main house castles one on siege, one on oceania, and a warehouse/event house on oceania  Shows the locations of the walls,  The only 'normal' wall in that castle is around the stairwell the rest  you can put where you like.
