Basically just wanting to know if there's a way to save your house template. I'm keeping an eye out for a better spot and dread having to redo everything if there's no way to do it.

There is no way to save your house design to apply it to another spot. The closest way to do it is to screenshot every angle and build from there. It takes a little time but it works well.
