From what I can tell, fishing 120 is extremely hard to acquire, in fact it may be the rarest 120 scroll in the game. Does the reward of being a fisherman compensate for such difficulty?

I know Kyronix mentioned MIB's will not be equal to treasure chests... what other things make legendary fishing exciting?

As of now, there is not much that benefits the reaching of 120 Legendary Fishermen.

I am STRONGLY hoping, though, that, thanking to the High Seas revamp throughout this year, Legendary Fishing gets some love and more usefullness to being a 120 Legendary Fisherman....

From what I understand, if you have 120 fishing you have higher chance of summoning Scalis (less fabled nets consumed in the attempt), and higher chance at a pack drop from Scalis and Leviathan. Higher chance % at fishing up SOS and rare fish. I have no idea if 120 fishing effects crab and lobster trap success.
