I've been searching for a while but can't find a post that I'm sure deals with the current housing rules. What happens to my house these days if I cancel my account.

you need to go to your account mgmt https://accounts.eamythic.com/ ; and check when your subscription will expire, after you close your account and the time of the GTC or CC expire, 90 days After you closed your account, your house will start staging for 5 days and collapse.
