What are some strategies on getting through Twisted Weald?

So far I have only made it partially through the quicksand area before getting run offed or killed by the changelings. I have tried going as a human mage, mage polymorphed into an ettin. mage polymorphed into a gargoyle, and a mage polymorphed into a chicken (getting chased by three chickens gave me a chuckle). Each time with a summoned earth elemental and water elemental set to guard me.

walk, invis, walk, invis, repeat. Anything else makes you a target. Alternate methods I have used are a stealther or a bard peacing the whole way.

I would have loved to have seen the chicken chase!

honor yourself, walk in, nothing will bother you until honor timer runs out

Gargoyles fly over the sands = mounted speed. Inviso is ur life.

Garg diso mystic bard is fun in there. Pull in a Cu & let the fighting begin. 🙂
