Umbrascale Cultist Slayer?

Im doing nests and my warrior can slay through most of the mob but the cultists give me a few problems especially when there is 3 or more. My solution was to throw on my reptile slaying axe and my repond slaying talisman so I can hit both with xtra dmg. I actually got to chop at the cultist for awhile which makes handling a spawn difficult. Right now, I just run until I can get them alone.

The problem is that the repond does not appear to work on them and I can’t find anything in the bestiary on the cultist. Does any one know if they have a slayer type?

Any suggestions?

No slayer,  you miss them a lot.  I pull up a bar from another mob and WW it so at least the WWs will also damage them.  If your macro happens to target one of them, you miss everything, many times.

Like you said, best to do damage as you can to them while in the group.  Then drag the humans to a nice place to kill them.  They do slow the process.  Only a Paragon Ascendant takes longer to kill than these on a massive nest.

Would a mage slayer work on them?

I haven't tried any slayer for them, but I use enemy of one and onslaught... that makes them a bit easier. As Pawain mentioned, I will WW everything else first and if they are still standing after everything else is dead I'll focus on each one. Takes a minute but no real need to run.

Thanks. I'm going to try a mage slayer and I'll holler back.

Nope, mage slayer does not make a difference.

I believe the cultist are reskinned from a Ronin (the ones with halberds actually heal) which I don't think have a slayer so my guess is that the cultist also do not have a slayer. Use enemy of one (Chiv) for extra damage.

That's the cheers I hear.  Tamer/Bards having an important solo part of an event made so they can participate in by using their skills!!

@Grimbeard go to Atl and Teach Ivory to use hers.  UO Taming is easier with Magery for me so I never tried that.  Gheals can be done from distance.

None of the mothers monsters or the mother herself bardable so it's a toss up.
