Why the Huntmaster's Gatherer’s Pack does not help with gems ?

I am forced to leave behind, from the Hidden Chests at the current Event, the gems which can often be found in the chests, because of their weight which adds up.

Yet, I could take them for imbuing if there was a way to reduce their weight while in my main backpack.

I thought about using the Gatherer’s Pack from the Huntmaster but, to my surprise, gems are not listed among the items which benefit from a weight reduction...

Wold it be possible to include them ? After all, they can also, if one wanted, be picked as a resource...

Have you see how much the charges cost to send cheap gems to the bank ?

As in regards to their weight, check the "total" weight of a satchel with gems in 1 single hidden chest, then multiply by the number of chests one can do in like an hour and see what the total weight for all gems gathered would be...

A Huntman's bag reducing their weight would be much, much needed, me thinks...

If they're cheap, then you don't really need them. And the charges cost me zero, zip, zilch, nada. go play the game instead of Trolling the forums.

Some could argue that saving up those cheap, little gems needed for imbuing could actually be playing the game... if only, they would be less heavy like fitting in a Huntmaster satchel...

If you want them, take them and use a BoS. The charges are free to those who bother to run the solen matriach quest once a month. it doesn't take long and the 100 will last you a very long time.

Suggestion:
  1. Clear out of your backpack anything you don't actually need to have with you
  2. Decide which of the gems you actually need and collect only those
  3. Don't pick up items you'll never use
  4. Carry a bag of sending, if you don't want to send the gems to the bank, send the heaviest of the 'of the umbrascale' items you've found.
  5. if you're in danger of becoming overweight, recall out, unload and then return.

The biggest joke is you pay to not play so you can trash talk here..

Once again.. just think about it before hitting the send button.

What is worse, paying to not play only cuz you don't want to lose your pixels?
Or, paying to have access to the forum trying to make UO, wich is not the shadow of itself, a better game?

*Insert dot dot dot*

Edit: Do me a solid, will you? Change those profiles pics for Harry & Lloyd.. the only rule: first come, first serve.

Do you think even the slightest bit of the crap you babble about is going to change anything?  I mean really?

@Mariah - I think we have answered this question for popps too... weird how majority of his threads end up becoming troll-fest and getting locked.... which is the direction I think this is heading.

If anything the Miner's Satchel should accept gems.

It should, and, my point is, also the gatherer's pack should accept them since, they can be collected around like from corpses.
