Why is the 2775 hue banner non existant?

I've talked to everyone I know and no one has gotten a single 2775 banner. That's over 150 banners from well over 20 players polled. Between that and Atlantic vendor & safe search (another ~100 banners) there is only 1 in existence, on a safe.

@Parallax did we fat finger a decimal where it shouldn't be? Are these supposed to be so rare? Doesn't make any sense, it's not even a very good looking hue on the banners.

I prefer 1910 or 2707. 2771 would be nice.

That one is too close to 2756 for my eyes to see a difference.

Maybe 2775 is the rare one. Which is fine by me. The Obelisks have a rare color. 2071

They are certainly very uncommon, I've only seen the one. But it doesn't make any sense, as the hue doesn't seem to be anything special.

I do wish @Parallax would chime in.

Since the beginning of the event, at an average of approximately 3-4 bosses per day, I obtained one of these, which is not standard, but rare.

I do not use it for decoration, so if you or anyone else would like it, it is available for sale.

Well, nothing is confirmed until @Parallax chimes in because even UO CAH doesn't think it's rare. There are apparently quite a few more than I thought after opening this thread and getting several messages about selling so again I'm just going to wait for @Parallax to say something, if he does, which he won't.

Perhaps the "Five on Fridays" answers could provide the table % allocation chances?

Of course, unless the banner can be chopped up for cloth ( if not, why not - the event cloth hue approach should be revisited ) - it may not matter.

Question Tamer: Could you please clarify the drop rate chances for the rewards from the Rifted Crown champion encounter? Specifically, what are the chances of receiving a Void Obelisk, and once one drops, how is the hue determined? Are all hues equally likely, or are some rarer than others?
Answer Parallax: The Void Obelisk is intended to be the rarest reward from the Rifted Crown Champion encounter, so you won’t see it drop very often. When one does drop, the hue is chosen from a weighted list, ranging from common to very rare. The void-colored hue (2071), in particular, is the rarest of them all.
