[Trick] How to end the follow mode of players using many bots

The follow mode is an option that allows the CC client, like creating a macro in the official client with attacking the nearby enemy, casting spells, etc ... repeating the same thing in several boxes in the macro section, where having several computers next to each other or open clients and changing client, you manually press the key and repeats it several times.

So far it is all legal, the problem is when the follow mode is linked to scripts, etc ... then it is no longer a manual mode, but all automated being so, a bot.

In the forum there have been many complaints and annoyances in the event regarding this issue, it is clear that seeing a character with 4 followers attacking, casting spells, etc ... begins to be strange that a player has 4 or more computers next to him and press all at once, it could be, but it could also be a script (except when playing with other people).

An alternative to this problem that players who feel uncomfortable can do, is with a mage, cast invisibility on the main character, by casting invisibility you will immediately cut off the follow mode of the characters that were following the main character.

This will make it difficult for those who engage in this type of action, slowing down their collection process.

1. I don't think this technique would make any difference. (It won't break the follow).

2. And, it does not automatically make them a bot, a bot is a fully unattended player - usually a solo sampire. These are not unattended (often), they are being played. Some functionality has been made easier, in the same ways Enhanced Client makes gameplay easier, with macros (scripts), and an assistant (pinco's).

3. How are they exploiting resources? They are paying 4x more, and probably not getting 4x more in returns.

Invis will break the follow, if you hit the leader.  You will also find out if they are attended.  Invising players bank sitting is harassment. so this would be also, check your email associated with the account if you do this.

U should say in overhead,  I thought that Para was going to kill you.  Then move along.

I hope they do disable auto follow of rate next event, sorry for those that use it legit.

But it will confirm that there is an illegal client in use

there will be nowhere to hide 

alternatively just block the illegal client like they did a month or so ago, just create a way to continuously disable the illegal client

Many people are in denial.
It can be used as an opportunity to learn, and improve.
Not just go back to manual gearboxes.

You do realise, Classic Client - does not have an auto attack macro (script), that Enhanced Client has.
So in direct comparison - the Enhanced Client is in fact a cheat program.

Well darn.  It breaks it for me when the leader invises.
Maybe because I can't be moving when I cast.  I guess hitting a moving target with invis does not last long enough.  

Still say use the hives and drop the para chests for others to have.

Auto attack doesn't work right in the EC I can stand there while some mobs hack away and doesn't attack half the time.

With the original client it cuts off, I just tested it in motion using hidding walking and it doesn't register any more movement, the original client without modification loses linkage.

Maybe Cookie by the picture he posted in another publication, uses another client, so maybe he is not cut, but the original without modification is cut.

According to what they said in discord it is Orion that Cookie uses, so I don't know how that client (Orion) works, I only use the ones that can be downloaded from uo.com.

first, we know all know you cheat, so lets get that out there

If anyone is following/chasing in the next event they deserve a ban

the fact is, I do get frustrated by the cheating, I know the dev's are working on it and they WILL rid us of cheating

nearest target is very annoying, Pinco's smart  target is way better but what is annoying is the rich machine guns they have, they hit you with 3,4,5 spells instantly and if you are up against it that can give you the grey robe! I hate liches!

but the smart target still relies on key presses so you have to be attended and controlling the client unlike the cheat client where it appears you can go out and come back with the client still playing the game for you

I have been found out?

That must have been hard, considering I myself was very honest about stuff, so the developers could know where I was coming from.

From day 1, I have considered EC a cheat program, as have many.

Took me a good ~10 min; I was like this dude ain't monitoring his red like he should.. so I went into one of their botted sampire.. his OWN sampire enter in a frenzy, after attacking the red with an AoE, he start beating that red at super speed..

It was hilarious!
They all went MIA ~2 hours.. came back with no more AoE on the bots.. but those said bots would start dying to mobs.. the next day they started doing tchou tchou train instead.. since they needed a better protection than what a few red frame skipper with no will nor brain power could offer.

But yeah, I was gross out by their superior ability to auto chase their ennemies... I was like god damn.. even the chase "mini game" is botted now.. how pathetic. Plus they are protected by the studio.. GM's doing nothing.. even when these cheater drop racist comment when u kill and loot their bots.


I was thinking about those mage with auto stone wall in front of your character.. that same cheater just have to auto chase while casting an auto stone wall in front his target.. something that required high skill; UO wise.. is now automated at 95%
Like WTF is this clown show; BvB.. the guy perfectly chassing someone while frame skipping and casting perfect stone wall in front another frame skipper.. something SUPER DUPER HARD for anyone legit since there is 99% chance the other clown is a frame skipper..
in fact that clown only press one single macro once (to perform auto stone wall) not touching his mouse a single time.. a trained monkey could do the same and beat my ass if I decided to trade blow with him à la loyal
