They have turned off colored Mares and not told anyone so people are still buying the Totems that give nothing.
This is the type of thing that makes people leave the game.

If they're actually turned off, I believe this may be a mistake considering the latest post on the main site says to enjoy getting the colored nightmares.
The totems also work on Cu's and some other tames though, so they're not completely useless. Definitely a bummer if you purchased some specifically to try getting a nightmare though.

Oh yes enjoy paying 50M for a totem that gives you NO COLOR MARES.

Going to assume this isn't a troll post...
How many totem charges did you use and how many mares did you kill while using a charge? It could be bad RNG depending on how many you killed. I've heard of people using up to 3 charges (a full totem) without getting one red or better.
I've gone a couple totems charges without a red or better mare (weeks ago) and I kill about 90-100 mares per charge.Some of the grey ones (Shogun) look like shiny mares to me so there have been times I've mixed those up too and I thought I didn't even get a grey one with a totem charge.
All that said, it does happen where you can go a couple hundred mares without a single new color even when using a totem. Now if you are at like 300+ mares then yea I'd say there is probably a problem.
