Lag has returned to events!

Just thought it was funny.... within hours of Orion coming back, the event became unplayable again. Stacks of throwers and samps on every corner.


@Kyronix @Mesanna Can you provide free transfers to other shards less populated than Atlantic? This environment continues to be unplayable, every time there's an event. I don't have an old enough account. And I am tired of barely being able to play this game due to the inability to manage clients and cheating... It's been over a decade apparently, and nobodies issues - on either side of this "war" have been addressed.

Personally after 5 minutes I noted a frame skipper.. I had only killed 6-7 mobs and I quickly log out.

Mesanna need to address the situation.. the two failures; the one in july and dec.. it would be a minimum, before christmas time and vacation.

Sorry, that was before Orion came back. It’s people using throwers on those other clients.

to be honnest the problem isn t the third party client they are saving ass to osi since years with a way better client with less lag. the problem is scripting and multiboxing they should change some rule and be more agressive in game against this. but they should allow all clients to everyone whitout being responsable of them at your own risk.

Tell me how you know if O was available or not?

The truth is that they found a workaround, some faster than others, and were back day 0. Like I said in the other thread they were just auto relogging every few minutes. One of the moderators of the discord even posted a script and told everyone how to do it. Now it appears that they updated the program itself. 

It's the sampires running around like crack with unoptimized scripts doing "target nearest hostile" , "attack target" or whatever that garbage client's equivalent is 10000's of time a second, effectively mini ddosing the servers, on top of already busy servers (housing etc.) is what's causing the lag.

Nah they need one legit server or one ban world server.. this is the only possible option at this point.. considering the flaws from the missing management. july & dec failures.

lol, i've re-read your last few days post.. it started by I'm only using CC vanilla.. to: i'm trying web CUO for the first time (when your real client gets ban) with a lot of complaints about missing elements to the classic client + a review of the web client.. when your client got ban.

Anyone that has enough time and can read between the lines.. I mean.. In same time if u cannot see playboy as cookie alt.. it explains a lot.. go read a book

Yeah, even Pacific is choppy again tonight with The Hunter back up and running.

I went to Moonglow, first thing on my screen is 4 Garg throwers chasing a horse archer around the map at speeds I can't even come close to moving at and 1 shot killing every paragon.

No one cares what Broadsword does until Broadsword gets serious. If the team wants the game to continue on for 5 more years, let alone 25, they are going to have to start doing more than a slap on the wrist.

I do not envy the decisions the team will have to make between income streams, including their own livelihoods, and the rampant cheating.

If it continues like this though, there isn't much point in playing the game, as "the game" has been so wildly altered, corrupted, as to not be there anymore.

I don't really care what other people are automating, but when the masses of bots began to affect my connection to the shard I'm closest to, that's really just not worth it for me anymore.

Bro.. most players LOVE new shard/fresh start.. open one a pit of hell free clients.. and ship all the frame skipper there.. no transfer shield.. transfer all their shard bound.. set a specific date and time to open housing so they can prepare their bots..

Ask those cheater if they'd enjoy a fresh start server free clients.. if they don't take it.. i'll take the fresh start; legit one with a couple zealous GM... like NL.. but the sandboxy theme gated version.

few more people have come back to Europa but not seeing any static throwers or bot trains like before?

On GL the bots are back as of yesterday and I’ve seen lag as well. Lots of freezing and slowness. 

They either have the sack to ban paid accounts for cheating or this is all a joke.

So after having a conversation with friend that used "O" and said she was now trying WebCuo I told her I didn't trust it and she told me its an approved client which kinda insured me it was safe and her guild is using it as well with no issues. So I tired it but dont trust it because it uses chrome which I dont feel safe using as well as all my account info on discord. But yet im going to give my account info to some guys in Russia OKAY.

I wouldn't risk my accounts getting ban after playing for over 20 years not gonna happen.

I'm with you, except the hax part. I'm fine playing CC or now CUO. Lots of happy posters when they were gone.  They came and admitted they can't play by pushing buttons.  Time to cut them off, if they really like UO they will return after their tantrums.
