If a town Doesn't have a governor

Who do we talk to if a town doesn't have a governor at all? Was it the EM of the server?

On a side note, can we just remove the need to have a governor in order to enable a town buff, and just let players pick which buff they want to run. It's sad when I make a suggestion to a returning player that they go get a town buff to help them out, and there are only 2/9 towns with active buffs.

yes, go to a Governor's meeting and make a request to the King to be made Governor of the town that is without one.

Like Vic said, go to a Governors meeting, there will be plenty of empty Gov seats, so you can get right up to the front of the line to ask your question of the King, if he's not absent too.

Check wherever your shard's EM(s) post their event schedule. Usually uoem.net or the (sometimes) overly confusing UO.com calendar.

Thank you, what a ridiculously over complicated system. Should just be a calendar in game at all the banks the Em's can mark.

They do have access to the Town Cryer system (via Town Criers), so they can post shard and event-specific news. Check near banks or the Britain Commons.
