Why do EJ accounts have access to Vendor Search? There’s no good reason for it. Blocking their access would prevent the system from glitching or slowing down completely. Everyone knows it’s the bots that are overloading it.
I love to limit bots option.. but i don't think it has something to do with the bots.. those research feel like when u trying to connect on the forum.. the same password/same three words.. usually it doesn't work but when u lucky you have result.. i just retry the same research/password later and prey the RNG gods.
Like try Fey Wings.. way easier to research that, than connect on forum.. once out of 3 times Fey Wings show results.. unlike the forum i'd say 1/20 u can connect.
If your telling me the bots connecting on the forum are the issues.. count me in!
EJ accounts need to wait 1 minute between searches. Add in only 1 EJ account per IP address is allowed there is not a lot of EJ based mass boting going on. They are not causing Vendor Search to glitch or slow down.
Personally when i'm doing shopping I got the alt account log in; for when i'm getting timed out from the search system.
I would do the same for forum, dbl attempt on two tab if i was getting timed out.
