I'm going a bit crazy I think.  Using the Classic Client, I move somethings around, change a setting or two, and hit apply or OK and I get the title above.  Googled, but answers that are out there aren't working.  Not using anyother programs to do anything.  Was trying first with EC and it doesn't save anything but wasn't booting me like CC is doing.  Have reloaded both clients a few times now, even went thru a reload of windows to nbo avail.

I am getting tired and would really like to play.  Hope there's some suggestions out there, Thanks in advance.

I don't have the my login name files that you do in the program files..

This stuff is in my document under EA Games/ UO legacy / user data / (account name)/ (shard) / (character name)

C:\Users\Dennis\Documents\EA Games\Ultima Online Stygian Abyss\User Data

That is what is in my docs, but the it's empty, nothing in any of the folders except the next folder in the path.

something in you pc is preventing the files saving to the documents folder where they're meant to be.

Two things to check:

1. Make sure OneDrive is set to not move the EA Games directory to the cloud. You want the files to stay local.
2. If you have Windows's Ransomware Protection turned on make sure UOSA.exe and client.exe have permission to write to the directory.

@TimSt,   Thank you, that did the trick.  Went to Settings, did a search for Ransomware, opened the Allow an app through controlled folder access, and there we have it.  Allowed client.exe and UOSA.exe.

Tim, thanks for your help dude.  Been tryinbg to figure this out for a few days now.
