Despise won't be used if it was put back to its original form. I think what you are actually suggesting is that the new despise gets its reward list updated.
Or update the void pool rewards... I'd be ok with the rewards from this event (like garg earrings / balron bone) getting added to the VP reward list for an appropriate amount of points
They have been updating the huntsmaster challenge with items. Add a few deco items to the Void Pool vendor and the Putrid Hearts Vendor. Dungeon themed deco items would be cool to begin with. Ethereal armor from past events.
Despise was a good place to train pet and new chars.
I totally do not get the revamp to despise. When I came back I went there to do some training and was like WTH. I still do don't even know what do it in despise. Is there a guide somewhere?
This dev team can't even repopulate Blackthorn's dungeon and just left it a massive open space, you think they have the skill set to successfully revert Despise?
It's clear all the dev effort is going into New Legacy and we're just stuck getting mad lib seasonal events that are either a temp champ spawn or farming an area for points.
Agree 100%. Despise is great source of spined leather and great for training new dexers. I miss it since it was ruined. No one does the content there.

Hi! im an elder lady that mainly spent 15+ years of my 25 in UO meeting new players in Haven. Equipping, guiding and inspireing new and returning players. Telling returnees they could regain old accounts and actually SEE them . Thats often makes them go right away and sunbshribe.. Despise changes was a big chock to me. Its was the best place for training new chars , new players, new pets and gather leather. My young sons got their first friends in there and a guild to join. My guild held meetings at Brit Bank Europa for atleast 15 years, every evening; to share our experiences and gave a hand with all sorts of questios and needs . There were seats for everyone. Ppl were sad about the Despise changes most of all , I heard noone disagree about that.
when I came back, after a few years break, I was very disappointed to see that Despise had been turned into... whatever that is. I suppose someone thought New Haven replaced the need for Despise for newbies, but I'd much rather see Despise go back to what it was.
Well, guys, for training there are cemeteries and the Shame dungeon, and Shame is better in all respects, both in terms of the number and variety of combat skills of monsters and in terms of reward (you can farm better items and shame crystals which is worth more then anything in Despise).
Also, the new Despise can be used for advanced training better than anything else in the game, starting from the moment that you can just take a tank’s pet and beat monsters without taking damage yourself and satyrs allow you to use a quick leveling technique + this is simple and fun encounter.
So the fact that the old Despise is the best place for beginners is absolutely not true, just like Blackthorn which was permanently populated by bots, please tell me how a beginner should train there? Oh, you probably want them to deal with the bot problem, but so far it looks like a bunch of bot owners want their place back - lol.

Never botted, never will. For me there's a lot of nostalgia and memories for old Despise. My friends and girls and I used to have a lot of fun there. Now it's just some place I used to go. So yeah, some offense taken since you're assuming anyone who liked Despise and would like it back must be a cheater
Nobody's going to Felucca. Everyone made their choice almost 25 years ago and nobody is going back. Old Despise was the best place to train a character through normal gameplay, nobody cares about whatever dumb trick you have for New Despise using satyrs and tank pets.
Like i said Shame is perfect place and even more profitable, new players don't have that nostalgic feelings so they are don't care which dungeon to farm, if u are nostalgic u can go Felucca and if u wish to use power technic to skill up,like im pretty sure for 99% every old player will use, like any magic skill with coin press button (or legit macros) or golem/spider/ogre for any melle skills or new despise for any skill.
