One of my favorite April Fool's jokes was opening a gate for people to that tiny little 2-3 tile island where I had a freshly released dragon waiting, while spamming "FREE GEAR!1!" at the west Brit Bank! Hilarious! Then immediately dispelling the gate after someone stepped in.
In hindsight, we actually did it all the time until the GM's got annoyed with rescuing ghosts off there and told us to stop.
