Been down a lot for me lately to.

Returning player was asking for a client download link this morning... uo.com down all day once again. Pathetic, you just lost a potential customer @Kyronix @Mesanna

Someone must be watching, literally just came back up AFTER BEING DOWN ALL DAY

Good to see.  Kept getting the message last night it was not responding.   Wondered if it was me or UO.  Got through the logon, but after that just a blank, black screen.

For uo.com 'rarely being down' as other said... seems like I 'rarely' check it and it's down every time.

I like to believe this is how these incompetent at boardsword deal with a DDOS.. They need to do the same with cheating botters

The only reason you know it is down is when you load the client and you can still log in.  We already know you do not use UO.COM and the only reason you post this stuff is to try and throw digs at UO.

@Mariah no useful information on uo.com at all, you heard it here first. No one adds/updates a wiki, nope that doesn't exist. Jesus christ these people must eat chalk and huff paint. Literally the dumbest people to ever type on a forum. Do us all a favor and never post again.

All i'm expecting from uo.com is the herald section, (patch notes and important or interesting announcement regarding UO) with the client..
I have do admit it's not a good look to have the installation down.. in 2024 i don't even expect them to have a forum.. some lazy and/or cheap studio just go for a discord. (New World.. Amazon.. shut down their forum for a discord)

As for the game information, those are usually coming from fansite.. usually they got thrown a bone or two by the studio like free subs for their time and efforts.

The rest is peripheral.. imo, if u want a third life to UO u need to work on the crumbling foundation... things like balancing.. scripting/botting.. a better "godfather program" like for in game activities (peerless/gauntlet/champ spawn) or some kind of referal program.

So far I've found all the info I needed on google about UO.. I still need to do some little science.. like been doing some animal training and was questionning the use of HR and stamina regen on my PvE Cu Sidh using chiv.. I'm watching the stam and so far so good with 0 in both...

Did I find the info for my PvP Cu sidh on google to be 65 phy, 80fire, 70 cold, 80 pois and 70 energy? no.. this info is mine and mine only 
Anyway i'm fucked cuz I settle for a lesser specimen with 75 energy.. and thx to BS i never found the 4 slots specimen I had, a nearly perfect 85/35/85 PvE with sexy stats

85 cold resist is the least desired Cu.  What cold spells are pvpers using?  95% of ????HP Mobs don't do cold damage.

You are lucky you were saved from that poor specimen.

Refresh your memory and got read the CU post.. I did not lost my 300 hours CU sidhe cuz uo went down but cuz BS incompetency after rewarding exploiters a 2 slots CU they pull the plug on their older players not active at that moment with a 4 slots specimen.. and fuck my 300 hours grind.

The 85/35/85 specimen is a PvE specimen.. I would have a specialise pet (what i was supposed to already have) with 80/80/85/35/85.. optimal for what? still no idea.. but this is good optimisation of the CU Sidhe (min/maxing his potential)

PS: the PvP specimen like i said I wanted a 65/80/70/80/70.

But, finally i settle for a red with 75 energy.. I might go for 63/80/70/77/75 not perfect.. but I was about to rage quit UO cuz of BS incompetency after 80+ hours of taming CU in a 10 days period..

Worst zone in the game in term of FUN.. this zone is like walking with a rock in your shoes for 10 hours per day on the canadian coast during the fishflies season.

Edit: finally I settle for a 77 cold, 76 energy, light blue PvE specimen with 52 poison (my all around CU)

I've found one specimen close enough to what I had (nearly perfect with rare color) it was pure white with 84 cold/ 35 poison/ 85 energy.. but he had shit physical, fire and like 570 HP (i don't do raw specimen when they that weak)

Again what pvp spell are they casting that does cold damage.  I still say you are lucky without it.

i'm not sure how I'm supposed to tell it for the third time.. this is PvE specimen u talking about. bra c'mon now.. I realised u were a hypocritical bitch (the heart thing) but i thought u were a minimum wise.. do an effort..

here: the PvP specimen I wanted and GOT is 70 cold.. the minimum possible!!!

Why do you think 85 cold resist is good for anything?

95% of tough mobs don't do cold damage.  Cold spells are weak.

Then you said you made one with less than 80 phy resist.

You could keep up with what you say if your numbers didn't change from post to post.

cro-magnons speak: PvE specimen.. poison.. ignore.. he got bandage.. optimal for non poison melee dmg mobs..

PvP specimen 365/5= 73.. considering corpse skin.. 65 is the best that can be done against chaos/consecrate

It used to be down almost every weekend.  

But we can use this thread as a metric.

I'm not going to do the math but March was a lot of weeks ago and this thread is only 1 page long. And most of the posts are not about it being down.

So how many times has it been down since March?

... and no, despite what some idiots think, I can not possibly post every time UO.com is down... seriously think how moronic that sounds using my posts as a metric of how often UO.com is down lmao. On the odd occasion I do find it down, 9 times out of 10 I'm unable to log in to the forum within a few minutes and give up entirely, yet another failure of this leadership and one specific poster on this forum. Nice try though, keep bootlicking mesanna's failures.

I'm glad to hear this specific poster isn't going to do the math; it's likely far beyond their skill set and comprehension.
