"Allow you to change one character's name"

Sounds straight forward. But I'll do my research first before committing and losing something that wasn't mentioned in that description.

So on with my question. Is there any details that I should consider before changing a characters name? Has anyone experienced any losses (points, skills, items, guild status, housing) from doing so?

Yes it is making you a new character basically go into user data make a copy of the character paste on desk top rename to new character use token then move back inside user data file

^^ Above post means to copy all of your macros. It doesn't literally wipe your skills and make you a new character.

Name changes are very common and smooth. Have no fear here.

Any "owned by" items your character has will eventually change names to your new name.

Negative. That name will stay until you either trade or demo and replace under a new name.
