New stone walls decayd

Hi all,

i had new stone walls put in my house yesterday (custom castle). Unfortunately, this morning they were gone.

I had double clicked them so they were no longer yellow and extra locked them down.

Probably "i wish to lock this down" was not necessary. But can the walls have disappeared because of that?

Were they on the top level? If so, check your packing crate - they most likely were higher than the allowed z-axis for building. (I want to say it’s something like 76 clicks from 0 … 96? Something like that - it’s been a long time since I built up a castle.)

No, it was on the lower level.

Check your packing crate anyway.

did u chop them out of a crate or pouch to get them in place? if so they need to go through 2 cycles of locking and unlocking or else they will decay

I have placed the walls, double clicked, rotated (with tool) and locked.

I cannot select the moving grate (it is grayed out).

I put up two walls yesterday to test and locked one.

This morning after server down is the locked one gone.

They do not decay. This happens after server down.

Do all the walls you place disappear? Are you just dropping them or do you need to use a pouch. What is above the walls?
Show a picture of the walls.

Only the walls disappear when I lock them.

I put them directly on the floor in my custom castle.

There are two more floors above it, but no things or anything.

And the walls only disappear after serverdown.

The correct way to lock walls in place is by double clicking them Do not use 'I wish to lock down'.

That is certainly correct!

But shouldn't at least "nothing" happen when you lock the walls than that they disappear?

If you lock them down you mess up the mechanics.

You cant double click it if you lock it.
If you hover over it, you get instructions on how to lock it.

Need more info to help. Players are putting up walls every day without issues.

What do these walls say when you hover over them after you double click them?

I made this mistake my first time messing around with the walls too.

Just double click then and dont lock down.
