Did I read this wrong? Seems a bit excessive to me.

I read the 1 billion gold part, but it also said 2 billion platinum when I opened my bank

Inflation. 2,000,000,000,000 gold seems about reasonable if things continue on the current trajectory.

@Fat I don't know about publish notes... just open your bank and highlight the sentence under 'Bank Actions' prompt that pops up that says 'Deposit Platinum into Character Transfer Account' and it will open an explanation of it
