Today I took a character over to Balhae and arrived right in the middle of a city invasion, tomorrow I will be bringing that same character home to Sonoma. We used to be redirected to safer cities during such events in the past, why is it we not being done that today?
That happened to me the other day also - at least we are hidden when we pop up!
ya there is that, I fizz on a recall, book has 18 charges, had to run for a safer location till I could get the book open to try again.
Yeah it happened to me once but luckily it was moonglow, so I was pretty close to the southern city gate.
Also happens if you create a new character. I had three newly created characters get killed as soon as they were created in Britain.

You just have to not do the panic run. I run immediately but have not died yet.
