Poisoning skill needs help

i wana start poisoning but i cant find the thief npc in new haven. pls advise the direction of said npc for yours truly.
ps: have been wandering for the last 2 hrs. my hands have gone numb

There is no accelerated gain quest for poisoning, it may be beneficial therefore to leave New Haven and seek the thief guildmaster of a different city. I believe most people find Cove a good location, being a small, enclosed city.
