Item shard transferring??

I seen a few mentions of moving items from one shard to another. Is this a thing and how is it done? I'd like to get all my bank rares form my chars and bring them to one shard and sell em to get started on my new tamer or sampire. I only have 600k, which is like 2 dollars in up money now i guess.

Also, so much of my stuff is disappeared, I wonder wear its at? Did something just vanish or cleaned out?

You can buy a transfer token thru the uo in game store or after you hit 14 years can pick a token generator as a vet reward.

If you are only interested in moving stuff you can ask around on chat to see if someone is going to your destination shard. For example I do transfers from Pacific to Atlantic and back on a semi regular basis. As well as the occasional transfer to Catskills. One of the city governors on Pacific will do transfers to Origins.
