i know you can alter Jumus's hide and there is the mantle of the fallen .what about cuffs of arch mage can they be altered ?or is there gargoyle version? same for halo are there other SDI items for gargoyles i don't know of?

There was a bug that you cannot alter cuffs of archmage if they were the wrong way around, I haven’t tried but I’m sure it would have been fixed by now unless they are over a year behind:

there are also obsidian earrings so it is not to bad ! i was unable to alter my cuffs not sure if it is due to the bug @Hermione mentioned

you can alter the cuffs to gargoyles at termur public soulforge, just west of the bank , there is an npc gargoyle that let you alter artifacts when you hand them to him
