Real barding, not the Charger's weird sheets as seen in the EC, it would look great to have heavy war-horses with barding.

Why not just allow us to make/loot armor for any pet the same way we do for ourselves.

But really... why can’t the damage reduction of barding not transfer to other desirable pets with exceptional crafted barding? If you can ride it without taming you should be able to armor it and get PvM damage reduction. I’m a paladin... and I ride a weenier dragon.

I think we should have an expansion that does this:
Barding properties:
Current:
Swampy: +20% melee damage reduction
New magical ride barding, below are just examples for the rider:
Cu Sidhe: Auto Heal Rider (Tram only)
Unicorn barding: +5 SDI
Kirin: +1 FC FR
Serpentine dragon: +20% reduction in negative spell effects
Raptalon: +20 Resist Spells
Hiryu: +5 Dex
