Anyone able to get the new auto-open corpse option to work in CC?

I selected the new option to auto open corpses in Classic Client, but when I or my pet kill something I can't get the corpse to open no matter where I stand. I checked the patch notes and didn't see anything about this option being delayed in implementation.

Anyone able to get this to work, and if so, how?
