CUO has many other QoL upgrades available. I hope they are adding all of those.
If they weren't there at that moment, and the hundreds of players keeping tons of accounts up often just to preserve a historical building, you wouldn't even have an official UO to argue about. Both played a major role in the fact it still exists (I know first hand).
It would have been easy for EA to argue it wasn't profitable enough. Enough said, if you left it to them alone it would be gone without the shadow of a doubt.
I will also use the client I'm told I can use, but I'm not against QoL upgrades either.
I understand less and less why you are even here KroDuk... if you think this isn't UO anymore, then what are you doing? You admit yourself they can't radically change course like you would love to... so what remains?

I have a "similar" style of free prose and roleplaying, big difference is I LOVE UO and actually the whole IP and I'm extremely grateful for all the efforts it took to keep it going (I know the truth), so it would be horrible if anyone put me in the same bag as those types.
