  • The festivities kick off at 10:00am ET at The Barnacle in Minoc on TC1 with a warm welcome and a nostalgic look back at 28 unforgettable years of Britannia.
  • Then it’s time for the Bagball Battle! Players will compete for a shard-bound trophy and the ultimate prize—a chance to take on the Dev Team themselves!

  • At 1:00pm ET, don’t miss our Developers Panel! Join the Dev Team live on TC1 as they share stories, answer questions, and reveal their visions for Ultima Online’s future. Bring your questions and be part of the conversation!
  • Finally, we’ll close the celebration at 2:00pm ET with heartfelt thanks to our incredible community.
But that’s not all, throughout the livestream, we’ll be giving away epic anniversary bundles to lucky participants!

Make sure you’re a member of the official Ultima Online Discord so you don’t miss your chance.

It wouldn't be much of an anniversary if it wasn't celebrated on the 24th.

It's not much of an anniversary celebration when the two largests chunks of the player base, being 10am-2pm est usa time zones and Japanese time is 11pm-3am, cannot attend.

Massive failure. Do it on the weekend.

Extend the event 4 hours.  @Community Manager can sing and dance and do magic tricks in Britain conservatory.  Can't be worse than the performances on NL.

Then the main show later. Players will hang around.

You can't please all the people all the time.

No one asked to for this. We just asked for common sense to hold an event on the weekend as it's the common sense and logical time when most people would be able to attend, instead of mid day because it's convenient for them and they're on the clock anyway. A 1st grader could have told you this. They're prioritizing their convenience instead of the players. Let that sink in.

The celebration schedule should run something like:
Yay! UO was released 28 years ago on 9-24-97.  TO celebrate we will have celebrations across the globe on Saturday 9-27-25!!!!
Celebrations begin at 9AM in the following time zones:
9AM Canberra Time
9AM Central European Summer Time
9AM Eastern

See, that wasn't so difficult.  You get global coverage at a time that works for the paying customer.

This is where I feel bad for the Dev's because it doesn't matter what time they make it, people are going to have a (strong) opinion about it. These are likely the same people that are also going to whine about the items they get from the event in some way/shape/form.

Just a reminder that they don't need to have a live celebration (MANY more years with no live celebration vs with) and could simply just give the anniversary pack drops and keep it moving.

No, just common sense to not have it on 10am on a weekday that ostracizes most of their player base. I don't feel bad at all, they decided to schedule it when they were on the clock which was most convenient to them, not the players.

As I suggested one developer on a shard prefered time over the week then all day on the actual day

Maybe they chose that time on purpose so they would not have that many people able to join.  Counterintuitive but feasible.

Thanks for the gifts.

I loved the Orchid Waterfall gift.

Thank you to the entire Broadsword team and to all the players who make up the Ultima Online community for making this world of Sosaria a reality 🙂
