Elemental Fury and Consecrate synergy?

I have a question for the knowledgeable people of this glorious forum.

Right now, my Elemental Fury says "Each attack the caster deals with Physical damage ..." that is because I am holding a weapon that is 100% Physical Damage.
On the other hand, I cast Consecrate all the time. The mobs for this event have low fire resist. This means Consecrate is changing my 100% Physical Damage to 100% Fire Damage.

So, am I doing myself a disservice by casting Elemental Fury and Consecrate the same time?
Anyone has any ideas?

The damage type of Elemental Fury is entirely dependent upon the damage type of your Weapon, Consecrate Weapon does not affect it. Same with Onslaught.
So yes, your 100% Physical Damage weapon is dealing Physical Damage with Elemental Fury, even though Con Wep is changing the damage type of your weapon attack to Fire (Elemental Fury is still triggering off that damage). You can tell the damage type that Elemental Fury is dealing, by the color of it's "Flamestrike" graphic (in CC).
