There is one - on the craftable Eldritch mage sleeves.

Interestingly - the random slayer talismans are amazing, and give warriors the full set - which im very happy about, all my warriors need this.

But there is no equivilent Mage spellbook slayer set going around - aside from the Town Invasion ones many moons ago. One for the future maybe? 🙂

Very good, obviously I had not tried the recipes.
Its abit medicore item, but atleast the Casting Focus property is there which makes it easier to put together a CF suit for a real mage

The mage spellbook you are supposed to apply the potion for correct slayer I think

I did not have a chance to check the new event at TC1, but does your comment mean that there is a new spell book that turns into different slayers depending on a potion you apply?

Can you please enlighten the uninitiated?

I can't seem to find Void Essence, an ingredient needed to craft the Void Bane Elixir from one of the new recipes. I don't see it in the bank. I don't find it when I use the command for getting resources. And I don't find it offered using the clicky at the commons. Am I missing something?

"Real Mages don't need Casting Focus!!!"

Nah, they're not bad, but it'd be hard to give up +15 Resisting Spells & 8 Additional SDI from the Cuffs of the Archmage.   honestly, I'm really not a fan of CF, so personally, I try to avoid putting it in any of my suits.

I'd agree that these arms seem like too much of a step back in the SDI category (minus 8) & take away the +15 resist (PvP); there are not enough other stats to make up for it. None of the other stats (outside of CF & Int) are overcapped to make up for the loss. I can't see a place for these in many suits; especially with Cuffs of Archmage are pretty readily available these days.
