When was the last time you did dread horn, Lady Mel, Medusa, etc.  Most of the loot you receive from the current old bosses and dungeons just don't appeal to many people in the game.  Thats why most of these areas are completely empty.  Why do void pool at all when the items you can get with your points are outdated and not appealing?  Can we not add new item to the potential loot on all these old bosses.  Maybe some new deco items as well.  I am tired of getting Travesty trays, and corrupted trees.  Also want to have dungeons exciting again for people to return to kill things inside.  Add the possiblities of heirloom items like we currently have on NL.  How about some new quests that give you dungeon points towards an awesome new sword or cool boots with stats.  I guarantee that if such changes were made more people would be active in the game during the times there are no special events going on.

It took me almost a month and a half to get the Dread Flute and as I said in a post, approximately 3 months to get 2 of the dyes I wanted from Melisande, but the strongest of all, is that in almost three months I did not get the 27 dyes that exist (it was not my goal, that's why I did not continue the grinding).

It is for you to be aware that if you add more objects on top, this could lengthen much more the grind.

If your idea is more people, I think that what could attract more players to do Peerless would be to increase the % chance that these objects appear and reduce their difficulty, but as I said, this would also cause more people complicating getting the keys, it would lengthen more as there would be queues and for those who trade with this, devaluation of its value. So, in my opinion, I think it would have a negative effect.

The sellers of other shard I do not know, but in Europe there is no Dread Flute for sale or audition and the two special hair that I mentioned, one is 200m and the other 300m (and I only found one seller who has them in audition).

Mis is from the new generation? The generation that like their solo online game?

If u wanna skip the line up from trammel Peerless or the inexperienced trammies, u can also do the Fel version and fight for it.


Having a popular content ain't a problem on a good OW sandbox.. we just need multiple popular content like that (multiple POI)
That solo online game mentality ain't it.. teach them, pick a number or go on Fel.. plenty of options.. we have those tools.

I just want you to re-read this part.. to make sure this is what u meant. less content (u can clear it faster) with reduce difficulty? reducing peerless difficulty?? This is what u asking here? Since SA the difficulty of peerless...

You pretty much asking for less content/grind and easier peerless boss to revamp those peerless.. right?

We won't be able to farm it, if it's popular, at best we gonna buy from them.. we don't need more botted content.. fix the bot issue before working on content. thx! PS: yes the more a content is farm the more it's gonna devaluate it's value.. offer and demand.. more offer.. make sense. But that logic in this case is WRONG. u'd rather people farm less content so your dye stay rare?

You can solve the botting problem by other means; than banning them.. I would start with some* legit shard and big temporary debuff on the luck stats of account flag as cheater on them.


Cuz reading mis.. i'm lost.. the only thing I see is.. he's scared of bots botting the content he grinded last few months to devaluate his dye.. he'd be willing to go grind back if the loot was raining and was faster.. without anyone to disturb him.. if he's not scared of the botting problem.. i'm lost.. we playing a MMO with 2 facets.. his problem ain't a problem if u remove the bots from the equation.. right?

Cuz personally I can see this on a shard like Legend.. if they revamp like lady melisande.. it would be farm 24/7 by the same 10 bots; multiboxing on top of each others.. and everything mis fear (for the bad reason.. like a line up or unexperienced players) would become true.. but cuz of them bots.. devaluating his dye to the point.. it's not worth farming (fighting the bots for the spot).. only buying it from them bots users.

Personally I got a chest full of golden skull being stolen from me (I used to meet people in gauntlet)
They would be limited by the golden skull.. I was adding them to a chest full of skull.. one of them stole them all one night (told me it was his roomate; using his account)

Added someone I knew in game on LS to add a vet reward (from NBK guild).. I forgot to remove his co-owner status and I went do a champ spawns run, playing with a lil bro almost everything is set to co-owner.. ~4 hours later when I recall back he was in my Yew fel house and recall real fast.. he took most of the expensive stuff except the thing he placed for me.   😂


My lil bro got an ornament stolen from him by a in game "friend" (when they would sell for 100+ on ebay)
I've met more worthy people than unworthy.. this is why I hate joining guild.. always one or two rotten apple.

But yeah, u can always build a solid friend list.. personally on Legends since june, except a few trammies, I met one "cool" dude, he wanted to give me 110+m legs.. but i wouldn't associate myself with him for some reasons (he clearly was into cheating).. wich gave me reason when the event begins.. he would run around on a sampies with x garg thrower on his back.. when I call him out for it.. he puts one on myself saying I was also cheating (one of his bots would steal my mobs while following me) This is when I went on Felucca to farm the event and compete with frame skippers and their bots.. the first few days I was very undergear.. the better I was doing.. the worst it was getting (they would do PvP bot train by the end, instead of Pvbotting me on their red)


Edit: was in one guild on UO, when I was on Legends.. for the PS u take what u need (if u use it) or we roll dice for profit.. the problem was when the old leader and his bro came back to UO ~2 yrs later.. they had a beef with two guy (they would refuse to take their "order")
Personally the straw broke when I was doing a piper spawn with the lil bro.. a noob got lost, he killed her and loot everything from her (mostly crap gear with "special" resist earring)

When he decided to keep the crap (everything was trash excdept the earring) I quit the guild and re-equip that noob.. wich was still mad cuz of her earring.. I was like.. sell a single piece of gear I just gave you at brit.. u can buy new earring. -.-

PS: about your guildmate story.. it was a frequent crook move back then.. like the person "protecting" had a couple 10's on him already.. just snoop his ass before the champ die. (having a lil bro, help to accomplish that)

I would like to see more footwear, if not with stats, then at least some new art we can transmog currently available footwear to.

 I mean I been rocking the ever fashionable "boots" and "thigh high boots" for quite a while. I think maybe some of my characters would like some minax "shoes" and even a female character may like some Britannian royal detective high heels. I like Onixia's idea. Maybe add a new hairstyle as a drop too.

As I have said in other threads on various forums, power creep from the items available on dynamic events is slowly making all of the historical content nearly obsolete in terms of the loot pool.  Whether its adding in a new artifact here and there... or bumping up the quality of non-artifact drop (bring back the change of no-name legendaries? ) , something needs to be done to refresh existing content. 

The example I will give is that I used to love all of the mini-spawns in Stygian Abyss. That was by far my favorite expansion.   With the exception of tinker legs, nearly all the other mini-spawns are mostly entirely forgotten about because they just don't provide anything useful.  

By all means, increasing quality of loot table should probably also go hand-in-hand with increasing boss difficulty, but something really needs to be done here to revitalize existing PVM content.

... and make the anti-Virtue dungeons scary again!

BS did not delivered.. at best this is going to be a shard the help "new" players to transfer leveled up character on prodo after 1year, if they ain't lucky.. at worse it's going to be TC2 for prodo (test ground) or even more heresy, with extra grind as a bribe for the actual players.. wich is NOT what it was supposed to be.

I'm also for this. Because if this happened - I could finally walk away from UO for good. Its all the items and characters and net worth that keeps me keeping my accounts open at the moment. If you wipe it all - I'll move on to another better game.   NL is the same old tired graphics and gameplay as the old UO and can't compete with any modern game. 

If NL is so great - how come we don't have a large influx of players?  Given the very very very few posts on these forums it hasn't really done anything but attract some of the general UO players over to NL. It hasn't bumped subs at all.

To be fair, NL has made some good noise on 2 of the discord I was when it was originally announce (~150 & 300 viewers MMOrpg twitch streamer discord)

Not long after someone was sharing a news about NL. climatic change for season, old UO feeling, etc.. over the year from time to time someone would ask what's up with NL? No one had anything to share.

Personally, I had a little bird sing to me, during the summer 2024, about the incoming release of NL.. so, I came back 3months before; to be ready and fresh. On the 35+ persons i've seen shared interest for NL over the years, only 3 of them, me included, tested NL.
The other 2 are illegal server users.. within 48 hours they would uninstall the official.


NL has so much problems.. just that release trailer alone was.. I would have been ashame to share this.. so I did not.. I couldn't!! IF NL would have been good, I would have told them:"Do not watch the trailer" to not kill the hype.
Personally, I like reading between the lines.. when the dude on that trailer (he sounded dead inside) said: "If u still have the flame, personally I do" (talking about being a warrior on NL) after testing NL.. I was like this is exactly what it is.. it's address to actual UO players, that still have the flame.. a hub.. pretty sure mid term they plan, on top of holidays, to stop those heretic events on prodo and the focus will be to make them on NL, as an extraction shard.
Like recently that 3 part event.. they could make a ~3months season extraction on NL and adding this type of event on.. knowing the TOS is more important on their baby client.. this NL hub for their events, could be something decent.. instead of doing heretic events on 12+ servers.. ATL is over crowded and lagging cuz of bots (shouldn't be a problem on NL; wich is sad to think about) plus dead shard can have problem to do some of the "harder" content. This way, NL could be a fix to their OWN f-up/heretic events.

PS: what u said.. it was the same with their baby client.. the majority of players would still be using CC.. look today, the EC could be consider a success... Just fix CC and make it a legit equivalent to EC.. look how many users will still be using EC. If they make prodo great and address some of the heresy like power creep (killing 95% of the content) or CC.. NL would be doomed, with a strong prodo.. like EC would be, with a strong CC.
I have no doubt they can make NL work long term (they HAVE to), but at what cost? imo EC (and it's 2 predecessor) pulled UO down.. if they focus on CC, instead of force feeding EC; UO would be way more crowded today.

imo, NL need a drastic change, like some perma death content could be funny on UO. (hybrid of roguelike/hack and slash UO) Something great; to go along with a strong OW PvP sandbox prodo UO.
Cuz this themepark extractor version is.. very infuriating.

Now, depending on some it's for the noobs.. others says it's a test center for prodo.. (lol and lol)
It's clearly aiming to be a hub extraction shard, at moment. (not what it was supposed to be.. what about the legacy or the fun stuff?)


TL;DR; I hate to admit it but, if i'm here today it's because of NL.. cuz I had give up on UO since Mythic (now BS) took over.
