Hello, new on Atlantic Shard. Name is Fishgoldor. I'm a Ninja/Gargoyle. I started recently. I was given some armor and a weapon and 2k gold from someone after playing for an hour and wandering around doing quests. This nice person took me to a local training spot and taught me some basics. I've been training in that spot and hoarding everything I loot in my bank. I subbed to get the unlimited bank space because I love to hoard stuff, but idk what any items are for. I'm just killing zombies as a bunny and training ninjutsu spells and hiding/stealth. My skills are around or near 50. When should I be doing dungeons? What else should I look into doing? I've just been going between the starter town and my training spot since I started.
Nope, I'm brand new.
You will find Kroduk reads between the lines so much better than most of us, he even see's things that do not exist.
🙂Having said that, his point about trying Harpies at Covetous entrance was a good one, although I see you did not mention thief.
One thing I like to do early on with a new character, are the Solens outside Wind. just above Despise, then following up with the Solen quests inside the tunnels. As a levelling character, the solens are ideal, and build up your stock of zoogi fungus, bags of sending, that you can use in the rest of your hunting/questing. With a stock of these, you can hit IDOCs - announced at various points and be finding loot and sending back to bank.
You may want to build up Sacrifice Virtue for easier self-ressing at points, I find the mages at the entrance of Fire dungeon are good for this, or liches, or Lich Lords even - and you can get basic starter equipment off them.
Think about joining a guild, to do Roof, or Champion spawns, for scrolls, or armour. Think about joining VvV for some of the rewards there. Think about gaining Town Loyalty, for an additional buff, choose a town, choose the correct buff for you.
I'm not a ninja/hiding specialist in its own right, Ninja is often linked with pvp, hiding/stealth often with a thief of some sort, which can then expand your play in a certain direction. So if your character is a pure specialised pvm ninja, that is an interesting one, and off the top of my head, I cannot think of a specific direction of travel. My Ninja specific character is in fact Red, and is used as a Scout in Felucca (which would mess up both the Virtue and Town Buff concept, so don't go red, stay blue, you can scout also as a blue).
