Stealing ???

I'm trying to do stealing . I got a pack lama put 12 stone of ingots on it and when I try to steal it says lama blocks your attempt to steal every time. my stealing is at 105 I dont understand am I missing something? please help

You need to be in Felucca and outside of a guard zone in order to steal from your own lama.  I trained in my Fel keep.

Have to join the thieves guild.
Be in a guild so your llama is green.
And in fel.

Empty bottles are the standard to training stealing.

I did it at Skara Brae Fel bank, in a guard zone, with 23 stacks of gold on a single pack.



at 105 I would be using stack of 10-11 stones and slowly shifting a couple stacks to 11-12 stones.
I'm not in the thief guild nor in a guild. (if u do that; stealing from a "guildmate" u won't be flag as criminal)

Personally, I just need to wait a ~20 seconds to recall after stealing from the horse.

But yeah, if you're on a crowded server, do like they said; gate to your Fel home or steal from a "guildmate" as a member of the guild.

I'm not in the thieve guild while stealing from my own pack on Felucca.. make sure your pet is GUARDING you and u good to go.

If you want to steal you must join thieves guild training useless if you don't intend on using it

My understanding was you need to join the thieves guild to steal from players, so for that, you need 90 real stealing skill. To me, this is the definition of a pvp thief.

My thief, is by definition a pvm thief, as he is not in the thieves guild, and cannot steal from players. He mainly does dungeon or event content - and VvV which Kroduk insists makes him a pvp thief, but I disagree.

I can steal stuff fine, including primers in towns etc.

No need to join the thieves guild if your thief is only going to steal from crates, chests, or themselves. My thief got to 120 without ever joining the guild.

Ok, I learned something, this must have changed? I used to be unable to join the Thiefs guild, now I have just joined it...

Just think, all these years, I could have been griefing players... (more    😂   )

There is no great thrill then standing by the altar and stealing a 120 PS..

Show us your PvP thief.. I suspect even the PvE version does not exist.

My thief is long since retired and a fisherman now
