Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of a visit from the Community Manager again on Europa. Apparently, she just can’t get enough of our humble little shard — I mean, who can blame her? Europa is basically the Vegas of Ultima Online.

She was streaming, as usual, and got a front-row seat to some glorious, chaotic PvP mayhem. Yes, you heard that right: Europa PvP is alive and kicking. Packed with players, action, and enough spells flying around to make your FPS cry. Don’t take my word for it — go watch the stream yourself. You might even spot yourself being turned into a ghost.

But of course… there’s always that one group. You know the type. They don’t play here. They don’t PvP. Yet somehow, they patrol the forums like they’re on a moral crusade, DEMANDING bans for people who are — brace yourself — playing the game and having fun. Shocking, right?

Meanwhile, in the stream, you’ve got players chatting with the CM, laughing, fighting, dying horribly — you know, actually enjoying themselves in a 25-year-old game that still manages to bring people together.

So here's a wild idea: instead of turning every forum post into an episode of Judge Judy, how about we just… let people enjoy the game?

To the sad souls who feel the need to complain about shards they don’t even log into — maybe go outside, touch some grass, or I dunno, play a video game for fun like the rest of us?

1. There is no hack re fc/fcr speed.

2. When I post dodgy images, they are deleted. When you post dodgy images, they are deleted, we are being treated the same. 3. It has also been requested content from external discord servers is not posted, as again, this can be controversial.

The earlier part of that stream is another group of Europa players gathered to have fun, at a pvm governor arranged event. Both play styles are alive and well on Europa.

God damn.. grown men getting hard by those tears of rage..  


Even that PvM'ers is out of touch; lost in the left field.. madness.

Easy solution.. free client shard (y'all can even keep promoting it.. so even more cheater from illegal shard could come back) with Legit shards.. so WE CAN promote it.. a tons more legit players gonna come back to enjoy a legit UO.. on top of getting rid of affiliates with a front EA dot come store (that still gonna be promote in game on top of promoting even more stuff like GOLD on the client.. even more sales, with no GM taxi fee for Bonnie)

PS: he knows cheaters are still alive and well.. this is.. we wouldn't need her stream.. cuz we would be legion to stream on twitch on the official server.. with FREE CLIENT and LEGIT one; good PvP. (the cheater can't cuz twitch apply the cheater rules and for a legit players.. no one wanna watch someone PvM or craft.. they want the juicy PvP stuff.. and no one can compete as  CC legit..)

Free promotion bigger reach.. more money.. get rid of those affiliates and do huge moves.


But yeah, for that CM to promote them and act like omg soo much is happening.. we get it.. u don't PvP or barelly play the game to miss the obvious stuff happening.. personally I can spot someone multiboxing 5 accounts with tons of perfect combo and automation while frame skipping (like at a certain point she could barelly keep up with a naked dude on foot with her horse.. that CM face says it all, she knows.. like we all do.. but they don't see the potential of UO.. let's blame the human nature)

I,m sure MarkeeDragon would agree with the Bonnie corporate culture, right?..

I did have to double take when I saw those naked guys on foot running around, that was mental.
But I assumed it was some Enhanced Client graphical weird stuff. I don't understand what Enhanced Client is showing me tbh. I did not see that happening in the fight on my client.
Sometimes people on foot run faster than you expect, especially when they are scared. 🙂

I can confirm that seeing naked people running at mount speed is an EC bug, they are actually fully dressed and on a mount.

I'm not "agreeing with you because it is one of my enemies" - I saw the same thing as you - thought it was strange, and came to a more calm, and logical conclusion that did not involve cheating or conspiracy theories.

It is a perfect example, of how we see the same thing, I interpret it correctly, and you go off with the fairies.

Thx.. personally last time I experienced that myself was ~18 years ago.. and those were speed hacker after I dismounted them.. I couldn't catch up to them. (they were also getting ban.. took 3-5 days usually before the ban hammer drop.)

In that CM video.. u could even see the CM face being like what the.. when it happen.. I suspected it was from EC.. but those 5 synchronize swimmers.. if u have an explanation.

In our minds, it is never good enough, but we are insanely good, this is what pvp training is all about.

Last time i've heard this speech was from someone with a way higher win percentage on my ass (he was steam rolling me on the first mistake, everytime.. his DPS/combo was inhumane).. the dude was streaming Blade n Soul PvP for 10-14 hours long and never missing a single beat; not a single combo.
He was a god among the elite.

He exposed himself for using BnS buddy (the constellation of the moment) not long after.

Terms of Service that are almost 30 years old, in an industry where even 1 year can have unforeseen progress.
I would like the TOS to be updated also, that is also something I have put forward.

They don't want this; they don't actually want a challenge. They want to stick on servers with players that might not have the client or scripts for said client they do, that have been 'refined' over the years, so they can poop on them and then talk poop in general chat when 'they' beat them. It's the same thing for every game there are cheaters: HVH lobbies exist for almost every game. Do cheaters actually play in said lobbies? Nah. They get the rush in beating people that are 'worse' than them, ie., people that aren't cheating. There's no dopamine rush when you get beaten. Go naked to Yew out of guard zone with a random character and you'll get killed instantly if there's any active PVP going on. Wonder why?

Consider this: all the best of the best cheaters were centered in one spot. Their TEMU cheats won't cut it anymore, so now they're bottom of the totem pole again. They'll have to pay to get the newest and best (if they can even find them for sale) or constantly get poopied on. You'll see a running theme here, it's all about some sort of fragile ego these people have.

It is not UO, and has no relation to UO.

I will not comment, as I am not aware of that game enough, I avoid them, as they are quite boring in terms of depth.

It's a fact tho.. playing game like shooters u losing IQ.. the part of being able to localize yourself in the time and space (what make top elite sport players champions or legends)

Similar result on your brain as using a GPS..
PS: I know a tons of adult only playing FPS.. it has nothing to do about being a grown up.
i'd play a FPS tomorow with the right people..

Edit: a game like mario bros.. help you develop your brain tho.. that space and time IQ gonna gain a couple point instead of losing a couple.

Serious question: Why are people who don’t even play on Europa constantly jumping into threads about Europa?
Like, is this a new hobby now? Commenting on things you have zero involvement in?

You don’t see anyone with a shred of common sense chiming in on topics they know nothing about. I don’t log into the BOD forums and start critiquing tailor reward balance. You know why?
Because I don’t do BODs.
You don’t see Cookie arguing about Fishing Masteries. Why? Because it’s not his scene. It’s called staying in your lane. Radical concept, I know.

So let me ask again:
This post is about EUROPA SHARD PvP — where we’ve got 20, 30, sometimes even more players throwing down in epic battles.
It’s so active that even the Community Manager is showing up to stream the chaos. And let me tell you — it’s glorious.

Now here’s the key question:
Were you there? Do you play on Europa?

If the answer to both is no, then maybe, just maybe…
You don’t need to post like you're the PvP Gandalf of all shards.

Because from where I’m standing, it’s not a good look to yell from the sidelines about a game you’re not even playing.
Let the people who are actually in the fights, on the shard, and having fun talk about it. The rest? Maybe go post on something relevant. Like I don’t know… anything you actually do.
