Add cloth to loot table for cargo ships
Make cargo hold a true secure container 
All repairs to be done with materials in hold

I would like to see pears added to the loot table.

Make Ship Tracking able to distinguish between player ships and NPC ships. Add a high chance of Trove T-Maps from Dread Pirates.

120 fishing scrolls are VERY worthwhile if you put in the effort to get them, to use or sell for big bucks

120 fishing is the reward. its the prestige of getting there

if you want to ask for something you want to ask once and for all about getting rid of shoes and boots a legendary fisherman fishes up

any skill beyond 80 ish should allow the fisherman to avoid fishing up crap

and not waste a read pick on that stupid big D rod or whatever its called

Agreed that catching footwear should be tied to real skill but we desperately need new fishing poles, one with luck equal to a weapon and shield. one with sdi equal to spellbook and hooks shield etc. keep in mind this real just cosmetic for players who want their fishers to look like fishers.
I'd still like to see a two tile fishing skill based weapon either a fishing pole or harpon/Trident anything to give a fisher the ability to handle fishing spawn without unequipping their fishing equipment

Typically I just ignore these posts but you've been pushing the fishing pole stuff for a while. To be honest, what you are asking for has never made sense to me. From what it sounds, you want to be able to have your tamer or whatever other template equip a fishing pole solely based on your own game play style. There is currently no 2 handed item in the game that gives what you are asking for so I'm not sure why fishing poles would be the exception?

Additionally, some fishing poles are spell channel so you are able to use your magery/eval (multi tile distance) to handle fishing spawn without unequipping... again I don't think game mechanics really need to change based on a very small niche of players (that just has someone overly vocal about everything) simply because you don't want to use magery/eval or use and SDI suit or equip a bow etc.

compare it to tamers

a 120 tamer you would expect 100% success in taming a horse for example,  fails to tame is just not an option at 120

so a fisherman with expertise would be able to avoid catching crap

just like over 50 skill (or something like that) then start to catch named fish there should be acknowledgement that they are too good to be pulling up old shoes

100% agree with this part to a point. I have 120 fishing (bought it all lol) but never use that toon because once you are at 120 fishing there isn't much reason to do fishing quests and there isn't really much additional you can do that you can't do at 100 (I believe it's only catch more named fish?). 

That said, they gave us the BG Pole for this exact reason so I don't see them changing 120 fishing to stop pulling up footwear, but I do think having 120 fishing should be more worthwhile than it is. 

That doesn't have anything to do with having a fishing pole have a completely different mechanic (Spell Channel with 400 luck / 60 SDI / shooting harpoons) than any other item in the game like McDougle wants.

100% agree with this part to a point. None of the items I suggested would be in any way over powered it would simply allow fishers to look the part for you know fun to the reason we play the game

That being said, you don't need a full luck suit for a fisherman. I don't think luck is even a factor while fishing. You also don't need max SDI; that's also outside of the fact that if you are casting a spell you just changed from a fisher to a mage and therefore don't need a fishing pole.

No offense, but your request has the feel of a popps request where it's 100% based on how you play the game and no thought about the larger picture. Why don't you request a max SDI smith hammer while you are at it because your blacksmith wants to look the part while having max SDI...

wouldn't it make sense, if the fisherman has a luck suit for doing Charbydis and Scalis? Afterall, nobody would be able to do either without the fishermen. Why should the fisherman have to stand back and let everyone else to fight?

And about switching from a pole to a spellbook. I was on a fisherman who had around 50 magery. Before I could switch to my spellbook, a sea serpent paralyzed me. I was half dead before I could move. Usually I am able to switch quickly but not always. It would be so much easier if we could be able to defend ourselves right away.

Now that you mentioned it but would need to be a pick or shovel as I'd needed I'd while mining fishers fight normal fishing spawn monsters encountered in dungeon fishing and both chardy and scally so ya sdi is important and unlike popps my characters earn thier own drops so both luck (also used in opening sos ((maybes)) and sdi important again this is a simple appearance matter not recoding or anything time consuming

The fisherman is the only one that gets a drop from Charybdis,  they don't have to fight. I invis mine so he won't die.

Anyone can toss a net and get Scalis.

He wants to kill sea serpents,  which I have no idea why he thinks he needs luck or SDI for that.

To summerize this would strictly be cosmetic and in no way over powered
