Looks like the GM answered the question, but you do not like the answer.
You pay for the bank vault thing (good for one month) or resubb your account.
Just to remind you if you do pay for a month to unstuck the bank you will need 3 months till the account opens under EJ rules
This must be a very special item. 😂
buy a vault token with your sovs
then remove from the bank what you wish
by dragging it into the vault
then you can put it in your backpack
your account will still remain an EJ account

how do I know this?
because I added stacks of blank scrolls to the bank
and the next day I was over the limit
because it didn't create the fireworks wand, book or dagger
when I created the character. they didn't show up until the shard came back up the next day.

was it worth it?
yes, because I was able to get back what I put in there.
and I have a souvenir (vault ticket) to remind me not to do that again haha
Jezz I didn't know there was a vault token at least you would not have to wait 3 months ty for info
Mininova wand starts in a new characters bankbox. Are you sure it wasn't the candle that caused this? 😂
Sure, I would be ok with a GM removing 1 item. Why don't you email Mesanna and see if she will do that for you. I see no game breaker in that.
I really hate the way they implemented the bank box stuff. They should really have not limited to 20. It’s too little to play the game. You can’t hold a house. Or be friended to one. EJ accounts are just scripter helper accounts. Not really for people playing for free. Bad implementation. Should have bigger bank box. Should then pay incrementally for things like dungeon access passes etc.
I'm all for improving the ej accounts simply limit them to haven
Over the years, I've watched my old friends log into Britannia only to be frustrated by the EJ bank system almost without fail.
"Why can't I take anything out of the bank or deposit anything? What's the point of this?" they ask.
Yes, of course, this can be quickly resolved by paying money. However, these are still temporary returnees.
They're here to reminisce about present-day Britannia, check if any of their old friends are still around, stay for a while... and if they find it enjoyable, they might play a bit longer. During this process, they'll decide whether to reactivate their subscription.
Is it really right to make returning players feel like 'Oh, so F2P really only lets you walk around and breathe'?
The goal of 'preventing EJ characters from being used as storage mules' has already fallen apart, and the current EJ system is more strictly controlled than before with its 1 IP / 1 access limitation.
The items they stored in their banks are proof of their lives once lived in Britannia. Haven't we moved past the point of slapping their hands away and saying 'Look but don't touch'?
I believe the 20/24 item limit alone should be sufficient.
This could be solved with a 1 time 14 day trial of the Vault system. give EJ's an option to "test" the system and be able to remove the items in theiir bank down to the limit.
Does gold count as an item for EJ Accounts??? If so than xfer all gold to your paid account.
