Suggestion for next veteran reward container: Resource Stash

Inspired by myself in the other thread as a more universally usable instead of a niche one like dye cabinet. The crafter of any type's best friend...

The Resource Stash

Works as a container but is gridded and has pre-allocated slots for every resource in the game (not all depicted in image). Anything that could be used in crafting would have a slot in there. From bottles, to blank scrolls, to leather, to peerless reagents, to medusa scales, everything. When there is none of a resource in the slot, it could simply display as "0" or have no number to indicate none in the stash. When you drag -> drop any resource in to the container or anywhere over the container gump, it automatically goes in to it's proper slot. Very organized and simply laid out. If it could be made to hold over 60k of each resource (maybe? if technically possible) it would be insane.

Make it even better? An option on the side "OFF", "1", "10", "100" or "__" empty to fill in yourself so when you single left click any resource you get that amount in your backpack. No dragging and typing in a number required.

Let's make it a vet reward!

Didn't you say you got the idea from "Path of Exile"?
Do you know if they copy righted the idea?
So likely payday for them and the lawyers.  >:)

Anyone who programs or develops an idea is very serious about stealing someone else's work or having their's stolen.

PS I've had the same thing for years. Easy to do in EC.

I guess that's why UO never had levels... the inventor of the first MMO had levels and no other game was allowed to use that idea else they'd be sued. You must be a copyright attorney! Thanks for the clarification.

If your pic had all the resources, I would say no.

Here is what I have in my resource containers.
I don't have the 120 more that I use for cooking or Alchemy pictured.
Also add another 100 or so for refinements.

Actually the idea of levels came from board games long before internet so probably out of copyright.
I do know a lot of lawsuits were filed over the idea of having a shopping cart in an online store.
So I'm betting every time Broadsword introduce something new it gets run by a lawyer.
Remember the US came up with the concept of "Patent Trolls"
