The feature is already built into CUO, its available in Enhanced, what sense does this make AT ALL? I really enjoy being stuck on objects I can't see in the forests because of the trees literally covering the entire god damn screen, or being told "use this ugly, un-intuitive, outdated client, because we arbitrarily deemed certain features unfair on the others". Is it a damn wonder why so many 3rd party clients exist when people are expected to put up with 3 "official" clients and not a single f-ing one is "feature complete"? Come the hell on. This is far from the only instance of one client lacking features of another and vise-versa. Get rid of the Classic Client already and be done with this nonsense, there is no reason what so ever for there to be 3 clients, damn near no other MMO does this slap-dashed nonsense on display here. They have 1 client for a reason.

I know right. They should have added

Auto-open corpses
Auto follow
Large container gumps
Large circle of transparency size

to the EC years ago. Talk about unfair.

Ya every time I accidently log into CC, I run into doors expecting them to open. And I keep doing it until I notice I'm not in CUO.

In WebCUO, and in Classic, I would like an Option Tab for pvpers.

Where graphics quality of life stuff, such as this could be ticked on, or off.

Then everyone wins.

(an additional benefit aside from just vision, I believe is you can reduce lag a little also).

Give the PVPers legal stumphack while you're at it. I mean who gives a shit? Getting stuck on random shrubs isn't some key game mechanic they'd be avoiding.

What I see is a packed "2025 roadmap winter update"

Its good with a roadmap so players know what to expect, but wheres the plans on Client?

Its beyond tragic that the past 10 years of being outdated 2d client it has not been improved, but okay lets forget that and look forward. I cant see anything forward on 2d client.

Devs should go out themselves on 2d client and try pvp, and see for themselves.

Its just not 2009 anymore, players expect up to date client to play on. The EC did notsolve it.

the 2d client is so old these things were done in 1999, I played then I know, I saw screenshots, I pvped back then I always wanted it fair, todays illegal clients breaks all fairness and you got bots ontop.

I am aware of the webclient, but to a new/returning player downloading UO from UO.com these things is what meets them. The webclient isnt available for new/returningplayers, they wouldnt know about it when they click at uo.com "game guide" and "client download". Make it desktop and improve it.

Yeah. I will say that it's unfortunate and super confusing to have to choose between three different clients to play Ultima Online - that absolutely makes it more difficult for new players to get into the game, I think.

As a new player, I have tried the Classic, Enhanced Client and ClassicUO Web Client and can say hands down, the ClassicUO Web Client has been the best experience so far. I just wished it had more of that old-school aesthetic when it comes to the modern UI.

This is the response I got about this. "Thanks that's a good suggestion, we'll add it to the list but not a high priority for us at the minute." Also if you use Pincos you can turn trees off !! so yeah it makes no sense at all.

Sorry but you might be confused as we've never said that, I think you might be thinking of this unrelated issue about MAP COORDINAATES?

We have a page in our FAQ about the feature restrictions and why we (the web client team), can't change them:

Cuz the Community Manager refusing to acknowledge the problems or relay my message to the executive producer.. knowing that producer never came on the forum and clearly not playing UO legit.

frame skipper and bot users (cheat engine users) ruining the MAIN content y'all can deliver on a theme gated game.

And to the Devs, the irony really is - so many players I meet, all say, UO still has the foundations of one of the best pvp systems going, in any game at all.
