The Three Lumps of Coal for PAC ToT Event

My first time posting on the UO Forums, and sadly, it is in search of information regarding an evil trio. On Pacific, most everyone I've encountered at the ToT events are great: help clear healers area in city, help you if they see you running for your life from a paragon, etc. However, I noticed last month when I started participating in the ToT events a fine fellow called "****", who ran all over wiping out any undead he could spot. Well and good, but he would also run in on your battle when he got the chance, even if you had your mob down to near zero health, he'd still come in to bash it. Needless to say, if he got the chance to get to the mob you were moving on first, he'd do that too.

For some unknown reason, Digger vanished, but a new player started appearing with the same exact run in style****. I've told EE to leave me be in some strong language, but it has no effect. Now, there are actually three of them, **** - **** - and ****, who never seem to log out except when the server is down, and never interfere like I described with each other, but they are more than happy to do so to anyone else. I've currently got a complaint filed against ****, who lured a paragon skeletal drake to the turn in NPC at Britain, but **** didn't know my char was invisible next to the NPC watching him do it.

So my question is this—by running in on my battle with a mob, can they "get" the turn in artifact drop if one does drop? Do they know something by continually doing this? Oh, and if any of you: ******, want to dispute me on this post, I welcome it as I have no reason to remain silent on what you all shamelessly do to players on PAC.

You need to learn to cope with them under BS management or leave/quit the game.. even if u record them and send the proof to the studio.. nothing gonna happen.

I experienced something similar with 10 accounts on top of each other farming a spot 8 days straight 24/7 (for splintering weapons).. I reported them everyday; record them.. After that those same 10 accounts were doing the same in Ararat.. I just stop going where they were botting 24/7.. at the end of the day.. my house is the only place I ain't seeing them.. the roles are reverse.. Legit needs to hide while botters/cheaters own the game.

Short answer is yes.  If you both do damage to the monster you both get a chance at drop.

Not every thread needs to be a complaint about Broadsword.

First thing I do when an event begins is yell in chat, If I am fighting something feel free to join.

Who ever does enough damage gets their drop points increased.  These events were made for a multiplayer game.  

If I made a previous comment in 2018, then its my bad due to faulty memory. Yes, I'm not lashing out because of Karenitis, but you have all given me the answer - they do this because they know they can take the drop. I did realize nothing will happen to them via Broadsword unless they get a ton of complaints, but I saw nothing wrong with posting their toon names and what they do since that can help others encountering them on PAC. In short, nothing can be done to them at this time.

They are probably off sharders getting gear for EM events / idocs

They do not take the drop.  All who damage a mob enough get the same amount of points towards their drop Pool. You do not own mobs and the devs made the content for a multiplayer game.

As you can see this forum is full of whiners who do not understand the game mechanics.

I'd argu on that.. Manifestation is multiplayers.. invasion he has in fact mobs for him.. the spawn adapt to the numbers of players.. some of them are for him.. and the invasion ain't multiplayers content.. it's Multi-Bots..

Here, what would happen if Talmas was one of those cheater i've experienced on Trammel.. he would put one of his bots like garg thrower ON those guys.. following them.. like they were following me on Trammel.. the reason why I went on Felucca for the invasion..

I was complaining about them bots.. one of the train leader put a garg thrower on me (he was trolling saying on general: Kroduk is cheating! he's botting a train!!).. the SAME dude I would kill 2 of his bots and loot them on Felucca ~7days later and that would drop a racist comment ~5min later when he realised 2 of his bots died.. never has been punish for any of that.

I was fuming on Trammel having one of his garg thrower auto AI mobs around me.. I was not trying to get him killed.. I was like no way.. *went on felucca* after fighting a couple red frame skipper and humiliating some of them with the help of the spawns.. they would do the same with their red characters... to end up doing multiple tchou tchou trains  

A poo poo show... all i'm saying the more he gonna complaint.. the worse it's gonna get troll wise.. this is the wild west in game with no sheriff in town.. at best, he's gonna shows up to help them bots against someone blocking their path.

EE and I tend to play at the same time late at night.  Especially in Nujelm.  I have had no bad encounters with them.  My only observation is EE dies a lot and leaves his body there instead of coming back after rezing and reclaiming his gear and drops.  Everything must either be blessed or insured.

Always 2 sides to each story.  But a certain poster has only 1 answer to everything.   

I wonder how that "bot"dies and reses without a person there. Shocking.

Undertakers staff...

I don't think he is using an undertaker's staff.  I use one and my body disappears from where I died and appears at my feet. When I click on that body it turns into bones.  EE's body is fully intact.

And something like sacrifice turn your body into bones instead of teleporting it at your feet..
Constellation Bots i've seen were not getting back their body..they would be coded to go get back what they need in a bank or house.. like shovel, bandaid.. or what ever they uses, to unload their insured booty and keep rolling.

It's the correct recommendation and what I've been recommending people for the last few years. If you're unhappy with the status quo it's time to quit because it won't change. I've seen major guilds collapse on the dead shard I used to play on, and now that I've moved to Atlantic full time, I'm seeing guilds collapse on Atlantic. You get the cheaters saying they're going to quit if they can't use their programs, well, the converse is that legitimate people need to quit to send a message that we won't tolerate it. I've closed all but two of my accounts, will be down to one here shortly.

Nope, and when you ask for a simple thing as 'Toggle Item Insurance' hotkey you get ignored.

As already said, there is not. EC has the Toggle Item insurance. I leave my pack open and have it set to a hot key and insure them as I get them. you do forget at times though.

The OP is not the only one talking about those individuals, Timst also did.. as for you king, you already exposed yourself on mutiple occasion.. what ever u pretend now could not counter balance what u already been saying.

Ban World shards when? replace shard bound by banworld shard bound.. would be the first step to bring back the legit PvP sandbox UO we all loved and played at it's peak.

so OP signals out 3 players that are minding their own business and probably dont care to interact with others for whatever reason ,, and  site one of the reasons he believes their bots is because they dont come back for their corpse lol ,, ever since insurance i have never came back for my corpse no reason too , bandaids are easy to replace everything else is insured and if you dont have enough gold to insure everything like some do thats on you not them lol ,, and i see no mention of the 10+ wraiths that run around with 10+ skel dragons all moving in complete unison with each other , i could make assumptions using the OP logic thats because the OP is controlling all of them and doesnt like people interfering, see how mindless assumptions work

this is my main I dont post here usually ever because I believe its useless but heard someone was s##t talking so i decided to give my 2cents, you dont like it I dont care ,, and yes I'm Outlawbiker , like i care if you know that ,, I work at home building computers so i got a lot of free time to play got to love owning your own business

The guy had three posts.  He’s only brought up one issue to date and it was really just to ask if they get benefits from attacking the monsters by him.

im not sure how you came to the conclusion above based on that, but my first suggestion would not be to throw in the towel because they brought up a single issue.

i know a lot of posts are Bots bad, devs bad, broadsword bad.  But does it really have to be in every thread?

They're describing the behavior we've all seen and have been asking for years for broadsword to permanently address. The fact they came to this forum to post this, only post ever, would seem to me that it's a serious issue to this person. If that's the case, I will recommend quitting to the OP  @Talmas ;until this is permanently addressed by the devs.

The same style he reports is someone running up and hitting the monsters near him.  If that qualified them as a bot, over half the players would be considered bots.
