I logged in last night, and was wondering why I was lagging every few frames down there. Sure enough, I saw a couple trains. As soon as they get close to being on screen the lag starts.

Since GM's do not respond to these, does anyone have any suggestions on how to eliminate them? This is in Tram.

All it shown is how dumb those bots users really are.. they took that long to realised the ants hole was the place to be??? When u could tell even before it went live..

The most obvious solution would be to join them if u can't kill them. (this is what BS want u to do.. sub 4-5 more account and join them or it would be on Felucca)
If u don't consider cheating.. join me.. unsub and protest.. give the game to those cheaters and jaded old PvE players.. won't be long; things gonna change if we have enough legit users on the right side of the history books.


PS: I was calling it when it was first announce.. Trammel really? the most rewarding zone is not Felucca but Trammel? a bot haven, offering them the protection they were crying for when i start attacking them on Felucca?!?!

This "solution" was a pro bot solution.. if this is not intended it's madness..

Ask Nytol for tips on staying alive. Yes you can WW all the mobs ahead of them, skip the ants, beetles, and ant lions for them.  They have low fame.

Their own accounts... u know as I do u cannot have enough 200 bears... same for those ninjitsu earrings.. when u have 10-40 accounts.. u cannot have too much of that good stuff.. This is how they can own a dead shard and controlling all the PvP stuff happening like champ spawn.. killing all the competition at the roots (botted events) and transferring all their stuff like: botted PS on ATL to make good money

When they have a try hard like me to annoy their bots on Felucca.. u have the dev coming to rescue them with even better reward on trammel on top of being 24/7.

Once again those bots are not being PLAYED.. they being monitor.. as you speak with me on the forum u could be monitoring 40 bots farming for you on LS.. u dishonest imp.

They clearly automated using scripts and not being played.. after ~15min the cheater could realised a legit user is messing with his bots and page on him.. wich is pathetic and they thrive cuz of BS and people like you defending them, in fact u should be a GM Paiwan and doing the taxi for tram Yew gate.. saying they attended bots. I'm at work today so I can't play yet. I only saw four 24/7 bots yesterday on Christmas, which was better. I guess I'll down grade Alert status to "Yellow Alert" in the Solen tunnels. lol

Seems the bots are back and operational on origin. Guess they fixed the cheating client.
The way I dispatch the bots is I gather up paragons, then drag them near the bot, invis, and the paragons smash them.

Unfortunately, they are only out of commission for about 10 minutes while the bot realizes it died and goes to get a res.

Cool, let me know when drops are 10k each.  I can outfit some guys there and send some NL toons there to wear stuff.

2 sides to it.

1. Not many drops gained in the event, new players cannot get what they want when the event ends because the shard has run out, the items hit 1 plat. 

2. A lot of drops were gained. Prices are kept down, new players or characters joining the game, have more chance to play, get involved, have fun.

I myself, have been in the situation many times, 6 months after an event has ended, where new players are joining, and we cannot get them the items they want to play the game.

You chose.

I'm not saying it is perfect, but that is part of the equation for this particular choice.
I have always advocated spreading drops throughout the game, for all to get when they want, off certain bosses etc. But it seems they cannot change old code easily, so they do these events, these events are popular, get in there, have fun, stop moaning, get what you need, stop worrying about everyone else.

I'm playing the game hard, so could you.

This morning, I did 3+ hours on pure mages vs nightmares, no totems, 2 coloured, nothing special, but got my 3 mages 1 at a time to Lord (125 Nightmares each), so I could do a daily fame dump, so my pvp mages could have Sacrifice virtue. {Collected tons of scrolls from the nightmares - for Inscription BODS which I love}.

Then guild did a Lord Oaks, then we did a Harry, then we did a Rikky, then I caught an enemy guild player doing Rikky, now I'm farming the event in Solen Hives.

Got myself 3 x Lord titles, 2 x 25's, 1 x 120 wrestle, and going for items now, just by playing... no botting.

Over the last few days, been hitting cloth bless deeds via tailor bods - all manual. Also today, got my treasure hunter out for manifestation. Not used my rogue for awhile, need so many event drops.

Do your thing, stop stressing about everyone else. 
{My boys helped me at Oaks, and Harry, but the rest, I have to prep their mages, and characters for pvp, and pvm events, they just have time for main events).

@KroDuK Thinking about it, one way to beat the Bots, is to maximise your playing time.

Be achieving more than 1 thing when you play - bots can't do that.

For example, if I am in Solen Hives getting event drops - I am also doing the Solen quest for bags of sending.

If I am hunting nightmares, I am also collecting spell scrolls for Inscription BODS, and gaining fame for virtue.

If you find clever ways to double up on tasks, you are achieving more than they can, by being attended.

Bots are also not doing the top end content. Harrower for example, that is still a guild effort.

Though I appreciate they can do a lot, but more of it is low level repetitive stuff, even if the players are there, they may not even chose to do it!

Play how you want, what is fun for you.

{Some people have said - it is ok to do BODS via script etc... this is the point, not everyone enjoys every single task, and MUST do it by hand}.

I like to play the game. I like the graphics and actions ingame to be smooth, and move at my pace.

I've also never said I am pro-bot.
I am just not anti-bot as much as everyone else, I am able to just do my thing, live and let live, which it seems most cannot.
I understand 10 bots are a problem, I understand Atlantic got swamped with them and caused a lot of lag. But the outrage went above and beyond, there was no need for it. The implications to a lot of players was then far worse.
I am far more anti-negativity, than I am anti bot.
I really dislike negative people.

I'm fairly certain the GM's can see what client you're connected with if they turn their eyes on you. The vast majority of MMO admin tools have this capability. I think "selective enforcement" would be a fairer argument to make.

I don't know why you are questioning this. You are starting to read in between the lines as badly as some other people.

They did the EM event with me today, we got 1 drop between the 3 of us. That is one of the main monthly events we play for.

They did Oaks, and Harry with me yesterday.

They are very busy irl, studying, training, living, I only get them for main events, and they help me at pvp.
In the meantime, I complete all the grinds, to gear them up.
In terms of the client, we need a client to play on.
I've been very honest with everyone, and said, I am not going that far backwards, I cannot, I enjoy how we play a lot, and I have many times asked for Classic to be upgraded, so we are all on the same playing field.

You have revealed a lot of things about how you play UO in the last few weeks.

I have never hidden anything, just the rules restrict certain postings.

But when people start declaring wars left, right, and centre, it is better if people are better informed.

Rubbish.
I was one of the leavers.
I fought on an uneven playing field on pure Classic against Enhanced Client for 15 years, it was madness they did that to the pvp playerbase tbh - this is why so many left. Many, in all that time, had found other solutions to pvp against Enhanced, I had not.
I quit in 2019 odd, don't remember exact timeframes, then someone showed me the client that allowed you to play in Classic, and match Enhanced.
The playing experience was perfection, so I came back, and so did many others, and we all adapted. There is a huge playerbase out there, it is not small like they will all have you believe.
You have those who did not come back, and still want to take it all back 15 years, but there is no point. When you have played UO running as well as it does for us, you cannot go backwards.
I credit one client only, for giving UO the playability and feel, it really should have, and deserves as a game. I ask many times, for Classic to incorporate the parts that makes it good.
UO, the game itself is amazing, the client does need sorting out.
