Just a quick question. After seeing snow on NL I was just curious why normal shards don't have seasonal snow anymore.

I'm guessing because it was never implemented correctly, was very buggy in areas, looked horrible on most edges/hilly areas, and the majority of the community didn't like it. As someone who lives in a Trammel grass location that turned to snow, I'm quite happy they don't do it anymore. Plus, these days with monitors having higher and higher peak nits, pure white tends to burn the eyes a bit.

Ya i been asking for years for them to turn it back on but a select few are Grinches and don't want it

And ive said how they are making a big deal about weather in NL (which is the one of the few thinks i like about NL) so I hope they add the weather to prodo as well

They should bring back snow and thunder (who else remembers thunder?) but have showing it be an option under graphics like foliage is. That way people who do not want it do not see it and people who want it can see it.

Rather liked the snow. There is another discussion from years ago explaining why it was turned off for those players willing to search for it.

I remember and I'd love to see more weather again and the seasons. And like you say, have it be optional.
