They require 96. Doesn't need to be real. You can use jewels. There's usually +15 of taming skills in VS. So that would just be 30.

You can derive the taming + lore skill requirements using the calculator:
Note the third value comes from the animal lore page.
The threshold for having sufficient taming/lore to transfer a pet is lower than the threshold for reliably controlling a pet.
For instance, you get to 99% success change for 106, 96, 96.
Whereas it was only 70% for 96,96,96
