Will ultima online devs update ccDesk to be equal to ccWeb and EC?

UO devs have no input to CCDesk.  They have said there will be updates to official classic client. Until you can actually see their work load and priorities I would ask you to refrain from the unfounded allegation that they are lazy. Thank you.

At the rate the "mystery devs" are moving it looks like sheer laziness. Why would you have non uo devs working on the ccDesk client? We need uo devs who are capable of maintaining our clients haha. The hiring manager must really blow.

Since it does not belong to them or you, why don't you go ahead and do it.

They are not going to allow the things you want to add from the desktop anyway.

Run the web program in app form.  It works great that way.  You can't tell it's not an app.

I wish that was a legit invite to do something awesome but I will apply again next year when I finish my degree.

Hi tuco/New User/Above/Poison, will you be using your sampire "battle assistants" as a thesis for your resume?

asking for a friend.

also you've been saying "when i finish my degree this year" for three years now.
#6
I am not tuco nor above lol but I do believe in sharing all my work for free to anyone interested. I ain't going to let another player suffer because I have a greater understanding in a specific area of study.
#7
I did finish my associates last year, now I am pursuing my bachelors, in 2 more years after you will probably be upset I am pursuing my masters degree, haha. Baby steps brother.
#8
it's okay to deny it. and good luck with that application, i'm sure a dev proficient in only javascript is exactly what this game needs.
#9
I work with diverse set of languages not just one, that was just what crossed my path that day lol.

tldr;

>>"that's not me, those names aren't mine!"
>here is almost 3 years of your old account posting shotty javascript bots.
>>"haha thats not me but those are my scripts hahah im so popular it feels great. this is my discord if you wanna talk"
>wow that discord uses one of the same names you said weren't you that you didn't go by, and it was just made around the same time your other discord went inactive and "got hacked", youre really bad at lying.
>>"im out of excuses and the self realization of looking really dumb is setting it, have some personal attacks btw i'm the victim @Mariah pls!"

face it bud, youre just mad because you actually have to play the game now.

I wouldn't be upset if features weren't gated and players that used 3rd party clients were actually banned. You think I started back playing and straight out the gate was running Orion but I didn't but it was the only way to stay relevant in pvp. I have one account and if I get banned and lose a few years that is okay with me if every other 3rd party user is banned too. All I've done is call out bs I see and try to help people the best I can.

First, what do you mean by 'CCDesk'?  the developers of the now approved web client also have a desktop client which is not approved for use on official shards. The developers have promised some improvements to the official classic client, but they have other responsibilities, content for example, it's not going to happen overnight. They have a schedule planned many months in advance that they have to adhere to.

Mariah lol. ccWeb is classic uo / ccDesk is the default client we have been using for over 2 decades. We are pretty deep in the conversation for you not to be able to make that connection

I've been in communication with many 3rd party developer teams for UO for the past decade and this will be the first time I'm seeing anyone describe UO Classic Client as "ccDesk"

The sarcasm is not necessary, you can get your points across without being rude - especially to community volunteers.

Me too and ccDesk seemed to be an overall accepted and easy to follow acronym for Classic Client Desktop, I apologize if it's complexity bricked your thought process.

I've also been playing for decades without ever having heard the term "ccDesk" before. It's pretty stupid terminology since it makes it sound like "ccDesk" and "ccWeb" are variants of the same software, when it reality they aren't produced or maintained by the same people at all.

1.  You just literally came up with your own acronyms and assume everyone knows what you're talking about

2.  Never seen you in any developer space, so "me too" - don't believe it

Your attitude isn't going to contribute to any goal you're trying to achieve here.

It seems you were able to string together the solution pretty easy, to bad for some other individuals here, can you hold sibbles hand on this one?

the man is an elite programmer, he's getting his master's degree in javascript this year for the last three years, his acronyms aren't random they're actually modeled after common naming conventions for programmers. you just don't even understand dude, do you know how popular he is? you arent even worth him putting down his jolt cola for. wait until he drops his resume for a job with broadsword man, you'll be sorry. you absolute dork.

A true pro defines an abbreviation the first time he uses it in a conversation.
Example Classic Client Desktop (ccdesk)
That way his/her audience is concentrating on what is said rather than trying to figure out what the hell he is taking about.
