I wouldnt call them bots, but even devs must understand its more valuable with players contributing towards acutally spawning a boss than to hang around at bank waiting.

So if I want to do the new event I have to go sit in Luna in a crowd of 400 people, put my thumb in my butt, and wait for someone to drop a gate when the thing happens? It's like they imagined some big fun collaborative effort but were too dumb to grasp the obvious outcome of their own design.
This can't be what they wanted, yet they're doing it for apparently not the first time.

I was able to play for a bit this morning and enjoyed using my treasure Hunter that I haven’t used in years.
I forgot that it wasn’t fully developed and was grossly unprepared for some of the death robes I received.
it was nice to see a crowd on Great Lakes jump on the Manifestation of Evil. Cool looking “boss”. Going to try and do some more in a few hours.

I have to move my T Hunter off Atlantic tomorrow as my PVM/Event toon can't get looting rights there, kinda crazy.

Yeah, the boss dies within like 20-30 seconds of going vulnerable on Atlantic due to all the bots script targeting and AI spamming. Didn't get looting rights at all. Everything that comes out of the Daemonic Gates is instantly killed by script targeting bots as well, so there's virtually zero chance at getting a Shadow Hound.
On the plus side, i was the first person to do a T-Map on Napa after the Publish (the Town Cryers made no mention whatsoever of the Evil until i completed that Hoard map)...more than 17 hours after the Publish went live on Napa. Can you say "Ghost Shard"? Maybe i can solo spawn the Manifestation of Evil on Napa, and tame all the Shadow Hounds i want then. Otherwise, Shadow Hounds are going to be ultra-rare due to all the script insta targeting bots.

As for the shadow hounds i don't believe they very popular.. i did 2 manifestation and both time I had 1-2 shadow hound following me around (I was avoiding them for tamers)
I was killing the manifestation with mostly tamers on my shard and none would tame them.
PS: i'm serious for the ban wave.. send a GM out there give 3 days ban to those auto aim low skill lazy sucka.. clean the shard.. players will LOVE YOU for it.. (read my signature.. this is what cheater think of your game)
This could a be fun little community event.. only IF...

lots of leeches at Luna now on Europa, spawned the first boss, gave me co -ordinates...wasnt prepared so didnt know wtf it was...missed it. Basically T-hunters making bosses for leeches to kill. Second boss spawned, used the map below to find it, by the time i got there the boss was already dead, no one had bothered killing the portals :-( sad event. Should give people more time to get there

heh so finally got to hit a boss, but only because i spawned it where the chest was i was opening. It seems to count when you remove the trap off it and spawns at the location of the T-hunter

I tried for about 2 hours, I give up
By the time the town crier give the location, I enter the coords , few min riding like hell to location. 50% the time, when I get there the Boss is already dead. the other 50% the boss died SO fast, so many bots auto attacking that i got NO looting rights. so I guess we get back to the PAY to WIN or PAY to PLAY. the only way we can get anything in this game it is if we pay the farmer bots, since they get all

Or as a group of non T mappers did last night come along with a T mapper and help with the chest spawn. The treasure hunter should get the same rewards as any "leech bot" that was gated in.
This promotes community play and rewards the treasure hunter.

I'm not going to cry about anything being stolen from tmappers. There's no reason for an entire event centered entirely around one particular niche template in the first place. If you don't like doing all the work just for a bunch of people to run up, maybe these items should have just been put on monsters somewhere.
Also I still have no idea what any of the mobs involved in this event even look like.

A lot of Tamers (especially ones that don't frequent the forums) are unaware of how much insane damage a pack can inflict in certain circumstances. The Shadow Hounds are a top tier Pack pet, with only the exploited 1 slot Blood Foxes (no longer possible) exceeding them. Not to mention, most Tamers that are at the Manifestation of Evil, are there with a 5 slot pet, and so can't tame the Shadow Hounds on the spot. They'd have to stable their pet and come back to try.

Yeah, i was thinking that all T-Mappers that contributed to spawning the Boss, should immediately qualify for looting rights, and a chance at a drop (the more points they contributed to spawning, the higher the chance), no matter where they're at. That way the T-Mappers don't even have to go to the boss, they can just keep doing T-Maps and feeding the shard more Manifestations of Evil. Would definitely get more people contributing to T-Mapping then.

This a simple fix make boss on Atlantic only 1000x more powerful with regen problem solved

@Kyronix - Is it possible to "beef up" the ATL (only) boss; maybe 5x more HP? I wasn't getting any drops with my Tmaper (who helps spawn the boss) even when casting WOD so I started switching to my tamer when the boss gets close...even using a fully trained chiv/AI Cu AND casting WOD with a max SDI suit (almost 1k dmge) isn't getting looting rights.... and this is around now (ie 6:30am) when it's not even close to prime time play. I'm to the point where I'm not even bothering to dig up maps now because I don't think I'll get looting rights so 'why bother?".
